I am extremely disappointed with this entire experience. I ordered a treadmill and requested a refund while the box was still mostly unopened. I was then told I would have to pay £199.22 for the return courier fee. For a product that has barely been touched, this charge is nothing short of extortionate.
To make matters worse, the courier company used—BJS Two Man Delivery—has been awful to deal with. Even attempting to rearrange delivery was quoted at around £120, which is outrageous for a simple rescheduling request. Their communication, customer service, and overall approach have been shockingly poor. It feels like every step of the process is designed to squeeze more money out of the customer.
Between the inflated return charges and the ridiculous delivery-related fees, the whole experience has been stressful, unfair, and completely unaffordable. A customer should not be hit with these kinds of excessive costs for basic actions like rearranging a delivery or returning a barely-opened item.
I genuinely regret purchasing from this company and hope others are aware of these hidden, disproportionate, and frankly unreasonable charges—especially when BJS is involved. I am requesting that the company review these practices, because they are neither proportional nor customer-friendly.
