2024 Nokia 3210 Phone

Bought this Nokia 3210 phone as soon as it was available in 2024. Worked ok for 1 week. Then the #1 would have to press several times to work. Then dialing out it would show dialing but could not hear it ringing and person on other end could not hear you but you could hear them. Would not connect to call out in several different areas. Worst phone ever owned. Nothing like the original Nokia.

Nokia 3210

I purchased the Nokia 3210 from the official HMD website and received the device with visible scratches on the display. I immediately contacted their customer support, expecting a quick replacement. It’s been 13 days now, and I’m still waiting — no proper update, no pickup, just scripted replies. Extremely disappointing. Don’t fall into the trap of nostalgia — this is not the Nokia of the 90s or early 2000s. They are clearly misusing the brand name while delivering poor quality and even worse after-sales service. I genuinely regret buying this phone. Think twice before placing your order — it’s not worth the money or the frustration.

Appalling

Appalling, bought an XR20, 3 year warranty. Failed after 14 months, unable to repair, cannot offer like for like replacement. Under warranty.... Which has no value, no come back. Spent £240, waste of money

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! If I could give zero stars I would. Currently trying to return a phone but the return label never arrived. I keep getting the same generic auto emails telling me to create a return despite me providing screenshots that it doesn't allow me to do so and to contact customer services. Been going round in circles for over a week and still no return label. Have now had to file a case with my bank in hopes I can get a refund some how. Appalling customer service, they don't even read your email just sent an auto response. Honestly wish I'd bought the phone off Amazon.

Everything documented – serious defects ignored, consumer warranty rights denied

Everything I state in this review is true and fully documented through official letters and email correspondence, even if it cannot be uploaded on Trustpilot. HMD Global provided me with a Nokia 5.3 device as a replacement for a previous phone. On 7 June 2024, I received a signed letter from HMD’s General Counsel confirming that the device was new (not refurbished) and covered by a full two-year warranty. From the first weeks of use, the phone exhibited major, recurring problems: frequent call drops during conversations; failure to reconnect automatically to the network when traveling; the need to reboot the phone to regain signal; very poor battery life. Despite repeated reports, HMD and CTDI EU (their repair center) claimed the device is “working” and refused to consider a replacement, offering only repair. Their conduct violates: The Italian Consumer Code (Leg. Decree 206/2005), articles 129–132: the product is not conforming, and replacement is due if repair fails; EU Directive 2019/771: requires sellers to provide conforming goods and proportionate remedies, including replacement; EU Directive 2005/29/EC: repeated denial of remedy in case of documented defects constitutes unfair commercial practice; Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU, Article 38: ensures high-level consumer protection; Article 26 of the Charter: protects vulnerable individuals – in my case, I assist a disabled family member under Italian Law 104/92, art. 3(3), a fact completely ignored by HMD. What I find unacceptable is that despite providing all the required documentation, my requests were dismissed without proper analysis, and real, persistent defects were simply ignored. I have now submitted a formal complaint to the European Commission’s consumer protection office and a petition to the European Parliament. Beware: this is not an isolated issue, but a systemic practice that may affect many HMD customers across Europe. I encourage anyone who experienced similar behavior to document everything and report it to national or EU authorities.

It's just the worst company to deal with they only give workarounds and not real solutions and the hmd skyline had camera issue for 120 days and they just won't fix it and I don't recommend buying anything that's hmd branded.

Anbefaler ikke en HMD Fusion.

Jeg har købt en HMD Fusion i 2025. Den har problemer med at køre apps som fx. YouTube uden at gå i stå, være meget langsom, og går ofte ned under brug af appen... Appen kan godt fortsætte med at køre og vise video, men konstant dukker boksen op med at appen ikke virker og jeg kan vælge at vente eller lukke appen... Ikke optimalt og slet ikke tilfredsstillende. Ærgeligt da der er flere ting ved telefonen som ellers lader til at fungere udmærket til prisen. Generelt kan jeg ikke anbefale en HMD telefon.

Nokia phone C12.The call volume not working

Bought a Nokia phone C12.The call volume does not work even at maximum setting.Reported the fault to HMD and was given a repair request form.Completed the form but could not get the website to accept my address.Tried several address changes with same result.HMD asked for a screenshot with the error message.Sent the screenshot and explained I could not get a page with any error message.Have now been asked to send a video of the non existing error message.

Vraiment très mauvais.

Vraiment très mauvais. Le téléphone ne fonctionnait déjà pas très bien, obligé de tout désinstaller pour le renvoyer au centre de réparation qui me le renvoi en me disant qu'ils n'ont rien vu d'anormal. Je suis obligé de redémarrer le téléphone tous les 2 jours car il bloque. Et là c'est l'écran de déverrouillage qui est bloqué, je ne peux rien faire toute seule, je suis obligée de le renvoyer au centre de réparation pour qu'ils le déverrouillent eux-même, mais cette fois j'ai toute mes données dessus, donc hors de question. J'avais acheté le HMD Fusion pour l'indice de réparabilité, mais en fait je ne peux même pas le reset toute seule... Vraiment déplorable, jamais plus je ne rachète chez eux.

DO NOT BUY, don't do it to yourself.

Issues: Faulty device. Bad design. Very, very slow support. (Over three months and still ongoing). Warranty takes forever to claim. Repair company (CTDI) damaged the device forcing another return. Not worth the money, even when it is a cheap smartphone. My Nokia has a three years warranty that is honoured by a company called CTDI, a US company based in Romania. My device was faulty by design, I raised the issue with Nokia/ now HMD. After two returns the device didn't work at all so another return was booked. Support agreed that the device looked to have been sabotaged so a third return was booked and a replacement, sub standard HMD device is supposed to come. After over three months, no phone has arrived and we're still going on. Great having a warranty but it's not really honoured. DON'T PUT YOURSELF THROUGH IT.

Fantastic Value HMD Pulse Pro

Bought an HMD Pulse Pro direct from HMD. Reviews on the internet were mediocre but the phone has far exceeded expectations. Really cheap for what it is, responsive, great battery life, screen is great (720 is fine for a screen of that size). Best phone I've had for a really cheap price. What's not to like?!

I ordered a phone for €49.99 and it was defect.

I ordered a phone for €49.99, but it was defective upon arrival (a manufacturing defect). After insisting, I finally received a return label (because I had supposedly had to pay for the costs myself) but when making this, I had to fill out a form that it was supposedly DHL's fault. When sending this form, customer service had first forwarded a form that had already been filled out by a previous customer, a violation of privacy in my eyes. In the end, I did not receive a new device, but I did get my money back and I had to order a new device that had in the meantime been saved to €79.99 (€30 more expensive!). I had to subscribe to newsletters to possibly get the device back under promotional conditions, while I initially immediately asked for another device, I suddenly had to order another device when the promotional prices were still valid. It was the first time I ordered via the website, so ordering another device was not an option because I did not even know how the previous one would be handled. The customer service was also not in my native language, even though the website was in my native language. This was the worst customer service I have ever had, both online and in real life. This whole proces took 3 weeks. original tekst: Ik heb een telefoon gesteld voor €49,99, maar bij aankomst was deze defect (een fabrieksfout). Na aandringen kreeg ik eindelijk een retourlabel (want eerst had ik zogezegd zelf voor de kosten moeten opdraaien) maar bij het maken hiervan moest ik een formulier invullen dat het zogezegd de fout was van DHL. Bij het opsturen van dit formulier had de klantendienst eerst een formulier doorgestuurd die reeds was ingevuld door een vorige klant, een schending van privacy in mijn ogen. Uiteindelijk heb ik geen nieuw toestel gekregen maar wel mijn geld terug gekregen en moest ik maar een nieuw toestel bestellen die ondertussen weer was opgeslagen naar €79,99 (€30 duurder!). Ik moest me maar inschrijven op nieuwsbrieven om het toestel eventueel weer aan actie-voorwaarden te krijgen, terwijl ik initieel onmiddelijk om een ander toestel vroeg, ik moest maar ineens een ander toestel bestellen wanneer de actieprijzen nog geldig waren. Het was de eerste keer dat ik bestelde via de website, dus nog een toestel bestellen was geen optie omdat ik niet eens wist hoe het vorige ging afgehandeld worden. De klantendienst was ook niet in mijn moedertaal, ondanks de website wel in mijn moedertaal was. Dit was de slechte klantenservice die ik ooit heb gehad, zowel online als in het echte leven. Heel dit gebeuren duurde 3 weken.

Feel they have scammed me

I wish I could give zero stars. As others have said here, they seem like scammers. If only I'd read these reviews before purchasing. I bought two identical phones online a few weeks ago as I needed two. While setting up the first, it froze on a formatting screen. I couldn't turn it off, reset, nothing. It remained like that the entire day. HMD Support were trying to get me to speak to the repair centre. I said no thank you and initiated a return. I said I was returning both as I wasn't going to bother opening the second if the first was faulty and caused me hours of stress. I returned the phones together in the box they came in etc. A few days after they were received by HMD, I was refunded 1 phone only with no explanation. Since they received both within the 14 and 30 day grace periods, there should be a full refund for both phones. I have now been chasing this up day after day, multiple times a day, via live chat/email and telephone to no avail. HMD's support stops once they get your money. Don't be fooled by the pretty website and pre-purchase support. Like scammers, if it seems too good to be true, it most certainly is. I wanted European and I got Indian call centres of the worst kind (they cannot hear anything so you have to repeat everything ten times). I have been talked around in circles with script words like 'relevant department' and promises (lies) of a manager call back etc for days. Apparently there is a case number but despite asking via chat, email and phone for an expected update timeline, they keep saying 'soon'. I am still clueless. Does soon mean 1 day or 365 days? Trying to contact their office location in London (on Companies House) also got me nowhere but it appears to be a coworking space. Very strange. Is it just an address for operation appearances? Something very very suspicious about it all. Called Nokia and of course they say nothing to do with them anymore. Shame, they sounded nice. I think HMD will destroy Nokia's reputation. My advice to you - DO NOT GO NEAR THEM. EVER. Perhaps we should all get together and go to the press? Update: After about 1 week of multiple calls a day to the call centre, I eventually got a refund by threatening to go to the press. Not nice being pushed to behave like that but I totally intended to raise concerns about HMD in the press. Getting that refund was pretty much a full-time job for 1 week. I almost let the money go for my sanity but the principle of the situation kept me on it. Steer clear!

An HMD phone easily replaced my lost samsung

Bought an HMD pulse after losing my Samsung A52. It performs as well as the A52, barely noticed the change and for a fraction of the cost. Having always had the latest apple or Samsung products I have now realised I've been wasting my money over the years.

Fast service

I bought a new HMD XR21 from the HMD site in January 2025. By the end of March it suddenly stopped working for no particular reason. I asked for and warranty repair on their support site and within 1 work day I received the international DHL return label to Romania. I shipped my phone on Sunday and on Tuesday they examined the phone and on Wednesday they replied already that the phone was beyond repair and they would send me a new one. Today on Friday I received a new one via DHL. Great and very fast service from HMD.

Pour remplacer mon Iphone…

J'ai commandé un Nokia 3210 4g 2024 afin de décrocher de mon Iphone. Là on passe du tout connecté au rien connecté ! Mais quel plaisir de pouvoir renouer avec des activités autre que regarder l'écran de son téléphone ! J'avais lu pas mal de mauvais commentaires sur l'utilisation du système d'exploitation S30. Au final je le trouve hyper agréable, pour ma part aucun bug. Tout est fluide, la prédiction du T9 est parfaite. Mon seul reproche, c'est le clavier, j'ai choisi la couleur bleu pour le téléphone et l'écriture est blanche, je pense que j'aurais dû prendre le jaune avec l'écriture noir pour plus de lisibilité. Si vous voulez profiter de vos repas de famille, de lire des livres au lieu de passer 3h sur votre téléphone, le 3210 4G est pour moi un des meilleurs moyens de revivre. J'ai rangé mon Iphone 13, le nokia m'accompagne tous les jours et l'autonomie d'une semaine est vraiment confortable. Bravo et continué HMD. Si vous proposez un téléphone avec un clavier comme les anciens nokia se serait le TOP du TOP !

HMD Global Support is completely useless

HMD Global Support is completely useless for Nokia products. Only garbage and robotic answers. The KaiOS operating system is a lame duck and in some cases completely unusable. There's no help from HMD on this. Next time I'll buy a Sam... at least that's fully developed. This way, Nokia will soon be dead. Totally bad reviews!

What an shame in needing to give a star, even to rogues don't deserve it in order to make a review. Older days I used to travel a bit and particular "style" of business management seemed to acceptable when buying and selling goats in asian markets, not so much this day and age in Europe. If I don't hear from them by the end of a day tomorrow, I'll be cancelling payment via credit card, as I've spent 2 days trying/"chasing" (failing) for the order placed 4 days ago. Have been promised next day DHL delivery.- no notification and worse of all their "email contact form" doesn't work at all, that I tried several times over. I've got a feeling, they are just a scam, stealing peoples money, without and intension to fulfil their contractual obligation. Trading Standards will be informed too, but such shambles of a business have no place to operate in Europe and/or UK. Avoid, like a plague!

They said on my account that parcel was delivered but it actually wasn't. It was meant to be delivered in 24 hours, 5 days passed and I still haven't my phone. Customer service didn't help. Lost over £300!
