Applying through the ap was straight forward price was reasonable. Insurance was for a cruise in 08/26 Since then my medical situation changed and I duly informed them by phone, they wanted an additional £1,100 and if I chose not to accept then the existing policy was null and void! Asked about a refund and she didn’t know if I was entitled to one, still waiting for an answer 😡. Update, contacted today, existing policy confirmed cancelled by THEM, 14 day cooling off period past therefore no refund due, however in this instance they gracefully (!) agreed to offer 50% refund less £18.00 handling fee (how big of them!). This I accepted, just wanted an end to this interaction. BTW, after trawling the web found alternative quote for a 1/4 of the price 🤔

It's so hard to find an insurance company that will cover senior citizens at an affordable price as previous companies I've been with are now asking ridiculous amounts due to ill health. Glad to have found you.
