Stoeger M3020 Reviews

Hard to find a better semi-automatic shotgun at this price point. Yes, there are nicer guns out there, but for the money this is tough to beat.

I was skeptical about buying a Turkish-made shotgun, but this has proven me wrong. The action breaks in nicely after a few hundred rounds and it handles everything from light target loads to heavy waterfowl loads without issue. The synthetic stock is practical and weather-resistant.

This has become my go-to gun for pheasant and grouse hunting. Cycles fast for quick follow-up shots and the balance is excellent. The red fiber optic sight is easy to pick up in low light conditions.

The M3020 functions well overall but can be picky with lighter loads. I've found it works best with 3-inch shells and high brass 2¾-inch rounds. The finish shows wear pretty quickly in wet conditions, so regular maintenance is essential. Despite these issues, it's been dependable when it matters.

Love how quick this gun swings on crossing shots. The light weight makes it perfect for long days in the duck blind. Only wish the barrel came threaded for choke tubes from the factory instead of having to buy the upgrade separately.

The shotgun itself performs as expected, but when I had questions about warranty coverage, their customer service was slow to respond and not very helpful.

After 500+ rounds through this gun, I can confidently say it's built to last. The Inertia Driven system works flawlessly and cleanup is straightforward. The stock fits me well and the gun shoulders naturally. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an affordable semi-auto.

Perfect for someone getting into waterfowl hunting. Lightweight and handles well in the field.

Does what it's supposed to do without breaking the bank. Not the smoothest action I've used, but it gets the job done reliably enough for casual hunting.

Three years of regular use and this gun just keeps working. I've put it through mud, rain, and freezing temperatures without any failures. The simple design means fewer things can go wrong, and maintenance is easy even for beginners. The only upgrade I'd recommend is a better recoil pad for extended shooting sessions.

While the gun functions adequately, the fit and finish leaves something to be desired. There are rough edges on the receiver and the wood stock has some gaps where it meets the metal. For just a bit more money, you can get something much better made.

This shotgun has been reliable for three hunting seasons now. The semi-automatic action cycles smoothly and I've had zero malfunctions with various loads. Only minor complaint is the plastic trigger guard feels a bit cheap, but for the price point it's hard to beat.
