Soho studios scammers

Shocking scammers charged my wife £2500 for a portfolio and management never got one job photos were terrible had to be done twice. Now they have vanished with the scam.

Group of stammers

Group of stammers. Do not waste your time. I was scammed £2250 for 50 photos and Z card and modelling opportunity but all was lies by the time I realised it, it was too late. Don't listen to Lisa or Stewart or Oliver or anybody there, you will be scam. Do not pay any deposit for photoshoot, that's their first step of roping you in, if you have already done so, ask for refund. Don't get scammed

The Best, without a doubt

where do i start, the stylist was incredible picked exactly the outfits for me, the photographer just instantly put me at ease as it was the first time i had done this, the shoot locations were perfect and the day was just amazing i cannot recommend the highly enough, what an absolute joy thank you for the most amazing day

Soho Fashion Studio’s Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful I had a lovely day and experience the atmosphere was relaxing and calm, lovely to have hair and makeup done with putting outfits together I would highly recommend to anyone to attend a photo shoot with Soho Fashion Studios

A joyous experience

I travelled from outside London and found Soho Studios to be a pleasant, welcoming place. The styling and make up were spot on with different looks in different locations and poses showing the versatility of the model. It was all really well organised and enjoyable, friendly people who were clearly professional, well qualified in their trade. Would definitely recommend.

Totally Professional…

The whole team from the receptionist through to the photographer are professional. They all make you feel comfortable and at ease with having your photo taken. They are also friendly, helpful and make your modelling experience there easy and a complete joy. It goes without saying the quality of their images is exceptional. If you're a client or modelling there, this is great place to work. 10/10

Photo shoot at Soho Fashion Studios

Travelled down for a photo shoot from Lancaster . Thought it might be fun and it was ! Have four outfits selected , four different looks , hair and makeup wise . Then two indoor and two outdoor sets of photos . Everyone was very pleasant and helpful and it is indeed a great day out . You are offered a portfolio at the end of the day . Both Soho Fashion Studios and Classic Models were professional at all times .

What a fabulous experience ..

Had a fabulous day at the shoot being greeted by a fantastic team of people. Upon arrival, they unpacked my bag for me with 4 outfit changes I had brought along with me. The venue was funky with a fab vib !! .. I then had 4hrs with them having hair and make up done, and then with my photographer taking photos inside and outside the venue, guiding me on what to do and how to do it. She was great !! I was then told to come back at 6pm to view my photos. These were wonderful to see and then offered a package to start up my portfolio. It was a great day never to be forgotten. Thank you all for your time and experience I will never forget.

SCAM !

SCAM !! They lure you in saying you have passed the initial call. Then they book you into a test shoot. Tell you that you have amazing hair, butter you up. Then the hard sell comes in to buy a package which is useless!! They told me they had contacts with high street brands, another lie !!

Challenging fun and successful

Hello, From the moment I walked into the studio on the13th November 2024 I was immediatly welcomed by a charming man who was on his way out but helped me with my suitcase down the steps Also complemented me on my outfit. Meet with reception again v friendly some formalities information gleaned before being introduced to Manon my stylist make up hair guru Immediatly sirted 4 outfits for my 4 shoots, 2 indoor, 2 out from casual to glam She was lovely fun talented and yes we had a laugh I was pretty nervous imposter syndrum being new, however she put me at ease.. Inroduced to Matt, my photographer who was v friendly and guided me throughout the shoot Never having modelled before.. Green screen first v casual natural Ist outdoor on streets of soho, quite a challenge for me however he was helpful directed my moves making it fun I unfortunatly took a tumble grazed my knee Matt was absolutely a gent, i was fine a little embarrassed v big heels and he took my arm and guided me back to the studio, where i was looked after antiseptic plaster All good and carried on.. Manon continued to up my look for next 2 shoots, changing my hair etc Getting as much diversity as possible, which is important in this industry. Great music was played, party vibe. I would like to thank everyone at Soho studio for making it a fun day challenging for me however ultimately successful I am going to be a model championing the old and the wise

This is not a scam

05/12/24 My portfolio has now been froward to me today by email earlier than promised. I will now move into the next stage of this journey without any over extended expectation of what I can achieve. I will not add any further comments here as my profession relationship with Soho Fashion Studios has now ended successfully, I can concluded that this is not a scam or a con. They have deliver on what I have paid for and I am more than satisfied with the product they delivered. There is a quote which says that the camera dose not lie. I will leave that at that for you all to digest and form your own opinions. A comment was made on one of these post which I would like to strongly disagree with, where the individual was made to look like a drag queen. That is an insult to the makeup artist. As a professional she understood my skin tone and followed her brief for the days shoot. Through her exceptional talents the artist made it appear that we had been working together for many years to achieve perfection. I would also like to give praise to the photograph who got the best out of me on the day which was reflected in his work. Therefore, I can only assume that those who have reported having problems with this company may have not honored their side of the contract and that is maybe why their problems have remained unresolved. I will leave it up to those who are reading my post too decide if this is a genuine post or they believe the negative comment written about this company My account of events is a true and accurate reflection of events from start to finish. As I said yesterday manage your own expectation of what you what to gain from this experience as no one is forcing you buy the portfolio or attend the photo shoot. If you feel you are being put under pressure to purchase something you do not want polity excuse yourself from the room and say no thank you I do not want to proceed. My final comment would be everyone needs to remember this is a business and they need to make money to survive against their own competitors. Thank you for reading this.

Photo Shoot

Very professional pictures were superb 👌. My only gripe! Is that before I travelled to London I checked that if I didn't want to buy ,'My Portfolio ' Would they still find me work! Was told yes. This is not So.... you have to purchase a £600.00 Portfolio to get work!! So please all bear this in mind.

I had an amazing experience at the…

I had an amazing experience at the Studio. I was welcomed by the very friendly team and how the photo shoot was going to work was explained clearly. The design and make up team were fantastic and the photographer great to work with. I had 4 different outfit changes and 4 hair and make up changes. All very professional and the photos were fantastic. Once I receive the photos ( within 7days) I am hoping that Classic models can help me start my career in mature modelling and Tv work and my journey in this industry can truly begin.

Do not be taken in by this SCAM. They will promise you everything & deliver nothing. They will take your money and you will never hear from them again. No photos/portfolio or work.

I signed up a year ago

I signed up a year ago. Platinum portfolio. Never had a job. My 'agent' contacted me to introduce herself and that was it. I have been in communication with the company to ask for money back because they didn't deliver on 1 year support. They claim they did. A year support is not 2 emails at the beginning in my books. Save yourself money. They are not even the agency that provides you with jobs, they are only a middle man that should put you in touch with agencies. No point paying money. I could have my £700 and earnings if I did it all by myself. I had more communication about why they can't give me back my money in the last few days than in the whole year.

I had a lovely time at soho fashion…

I had a lovely time at soho fashion studios everyone made me feel at ease as it was my first time and ofcourse a bit nervous … The makeup artist was quick and professional so was the photographer she was relaxed and very patient! The fashion designer who picked my clothes was complimentary and explained it all in detail . Overall a brilliant setup with great music Thanks for this lovely experience .

Soho Fashion Studios are SCAMMERS

What a bunch of scammers! Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews before falling for these bunch of rouges. The story is exactly the same and the pattern is the same to show how bad these people are. So I will not go into detail s,all I can say is that I stupidly parted with my hard earned £150 and at 72 years, that is a lot of money. I hope one day these people will be caught. People should think before agreeing to part with their money. Once you see the word"Modelling for mature people ",just run please and don't look back. They don't deserve any stars and I have feeling that these positive reviews they receive are fake because they are all talking about the photoshoot and nobody is saying anything about getting a job. The makeup artists were both rubbish but the photographer was lovely. Also,the lady who chose my outfit had zero personality and the guy who talks to you in the office after the photoshoot was very pushy and like I said,from what I've read from most reviews, he uses the same pattern. I would hate to hear more people falling for the lies of Soho Fashion Studios. I would be very happy if they could give me my money back but I know it won't happen because they are no longer in the same venue. Apparently they change places but one day they will be caught Stay away from anything to do with Soho Fashion Studios ladies,young and old SCAMMERS, SCAMMERS!!! They don't deserve any star from anybody. I gave them this one star because I couldn't proceed without putting any star VOETSEK.

Beware of this scam

Beware of this scam! If you come across it, run the other way. They not only scam by pretending to offer modeling jobs, but also send unrelated emails like cash app settlements. They’re constantly trying new tactics, but FAIL. Hopefully, they’ll end up in jail where they belong!

Photo shoot

Scam! Do not go here and do not part with your money! They offer you a package and sign you up with modeling agencies. They give you the spiel that you will earn a minimum of £3000 a month, part-time. There have been no job opportunities! Very disappointed as it has left me short and set me back. I could've invested the money in something else.

I had a fantastic experience at the soho fashion studios. The members of staff there were friendly, well mannered, and professional. I was very impressed with the way the makeup artist created my four different looks, and the way the stylist chose the outfits for me to wear. The photographer was great, she was brilliant at showing me ways to pose for the camera. An expensive photoshoot for lacklustre photos. No modelling contract.

So, I waited to write this review. I wanted to see if DY model network, model network and soho fashion studios were legit. Please know that it is all one big scam. 1. If you want to pay for the photo shoot, then insist on seeing all the photos before you pay. Most are ugly, lol. So, they show you a few that are okay 2. Do not expect the modelling contract to go anywhere. You never speak to the people who were chasing you down for money after you have paid. Instead you get new studios calling you, telling you they have a referral but you have to pay if they select you, oh and you have to take head shots. So, what was the benefit of the photos you took at Soho Fashion Studios? More or less the same scam that @DYModelNetwork.co.uk and @modelnetwork ran. Same spiel. Do not fall for it, cut your losses and go.

Bright, clean friendly fun atmosphere

I had a test photo shoot booked in for mature modelling portfolio and even when I turned up early, they made me feel welcome with a friendly smile. Its a young dynamic team of photographers, studio was clean bright and welcoming. The props were plenty and imaginative, nice variety of backdrops for various occasions.I was lead into two different studio rooms, one for more casual looks and other for mire glamour or festive occasions. The photographer guided me how she wanted me to pose, we also went outside in streets of colourful Soho as lovely background, which was convenient not to go far to find interesting backdrops. Changing rooms provided were clean, I was offered additional objects or accessories to round off the look, a different space is there for the make up and hair, which was fun too. Rounded off with upbeat music and friendly atmosphere, I enjoyed making me feel special and seeing photos of me that are very different from the "usual" snaps of family photography. Great experience.
