In addition to my subscription, I paid for the "issue for immediate delivery", which was not shipped until one full week later and with a "4-6 weeks delivery" period when it should have been First Class mail at least! I contacted customer service about this, and they did nothing. I grew up with Cricket Mag and was planning to purchase additional subscriptions for my other grandchildren, but won't now.
Over the years, it has gotten progressively more difficult to renew on line, resulting in errors in the magazine ordered.
Great gift and I will renew the subscription! My granddaughter loves it!

Subscribed Baby Bug and Lady Bug for my son and daughter in 1995, I just subscribed Baby Bug for my Granddaughter!
This is a magazine company that I have ordered subscriptions from for years as gifts which at the time had gotten rave reviews. The company is now consolidating their titles, which I did not receive any communication about, and will not allow me to cancel my subscriptions until after the consolidation!! Do not start a subscription with this company!!
My kids love it! They want to keep reading more and more of it! Keeps them engaged!
I gave Cricket Magazine as holiday gifts to all of my nieces and nephews, and it’s been a hit across the board. I find it hard to choose gifts for boys that they actually like, so I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how much my nephews have gotten out of them. Their parents tell me their kids are still enjoying them months later and LOVE getting something in the mail with their name on it. Definitely planning to renew.
The care put into the quality of the magazines is impressive, from the editorial to the art; even the paper quality makes it feel special.
The stories in Cricket's magazines are smart, fun, and age-appropriate—way better than a lot of what's out there. It actually gets kids excited to read, and I like that it’s not full of ads or junk. Great for curious kids who enjoy reading and learning new things.
Cricket is a constant in our house! My 11-year-old devours each issue the day it arrives. The stories and comics keeps him entertained for hours, and I appreciate how thoughtfully it’s all put together. It’s one of the few subscriptions we renew without hesitation every year.
I gave Spider to my grandson for his 7th birthday, and he’s hooked. Every time I visit, he’s got a new fact to share or a comic to read aloud. It’s colorful, clever, and full of variety. As someone who spent a career around books, I can say this one’s a keeper.
My Niece loves Spider Magazine!! I got Spider for my niece who’s just starting to read on her own—she absolutely loves it! The stories and poems are just the right level, and the activities are a great bonus. As a teacher, I can tell it’s designed with real care and creativity. Highly recommend!
