I bought a ticket last July 10, 2025 and I am trying to reach their website today Aug 15, 2025 and it says store unavailable. Now Im scared maybe I was scam. Cannot get hold of them.

I bought Rio Carnival Tickets through Viator who is a partner with Rio Tickets. I bought four tickets for Sunday, February 11, 2024. I downloaded the app to get my tickets online as advised by a member of their team who advised me to do so digitally in order to avoid the long lines of getting the tickets in person. Their website Quentro was extremely hard to navigate but I filled out the form, got a voucher and printed those abd took them ti the event. I believed the process was completed but cane to find out when I arrived an hour early to the beginning of the parade. The paperwork I present was not accepted to entry the event so I contacted Rio Tickets via their whatsapp using both messages and phone calls but no one answer to those. I sent them several emails and messages, calls via whatsapp the following day frustrated, angry and disappointed with their customer service . I had missed out on the event that my friends and I spent on airfare, hotel, food, taxis. Later that morning they finally answered and asked for ticket availability for the sane event fir that day, Monday, February 12,2024. I was told there were 2 tickets at $300. I asked them to her ld them for me explaining to my dire need of 4 tickets but wanting at least those two but they said they could not do that. I took a taxi to Arena Copacabana Hotel to buy thise tickets abd on the way there they wrote that the tickets now cost , $600 dollar each. I showed up at their location in tears begging to buy the tickets and was passed from one to the next guys running the show and they said I could get two ticket but needed to wait for a 5 minutes and it took two hours for them to complete the purchase of now only 1 ticket because there was no other available The guys named Elan ( they even told me they both had the same name and it was a lie ) made me and my party wait for hours and prolonged the purchase as much as they could I said they had not helped me by answering me when I needed the previous day and they said I had the wring number and that was not so because I had communication with someone from their company a few weeks before. . They were unreachable m when I contacted them even though I saw that they were online. The whole ordeal to buy a single ticket those guys flirted with 2 pretty ladies from Kazaskstan , took pictures and videos of them, flirted and talked to them without showing any care for other clients time and there were only a few there. They said they would probably get more tickets that afternoon and would even give me two of those fir free I was told that later in the day they would contact my friend ( I was progressively getting ill by then ) once the tickets were available. A few hours we were told there was another ticket for us . My sister and friend took a cab there immediately. Over two hours later that purchase was completed. They had no consideration for our time and situation and asked for me, mimicking me crying abd was told by my friend that it was not nice of then to do that. Those were foreigners speaking their language and running all kinds of scams. Again, my friend was told to come by in the way to the parade we should stop by and they would probably have the 2 other tickets we needed and we did go there . Again we were told to wait 2 minutes then 5 minutes and that they would possibly had the tickets we wanted for $80. They said we had only asked for 1 but we showed the text message that all along we had asked for 2 more. We waited another 25 minutes while I heard then offering 4 tickets over the phone to someone else and 4 other tickets later to another customer. That was past 7:00 p.m. and watching what the deals were doing I gave up and left their crying. They were selling tickets and doing all kinds of deals. At 10:00 p.m. that night I went back to see them and one of the Elans were still there in the lobby. I asked for his nane again and said I was going to contact Viator about the Rio Tickets guy guys business practices. I have boyght several tours from Viator including to in Rio that week and had yet to have such a terrible experience. On that afternoon an Italian couple was screaming at them for some of their wrongdoings. The reason for my review is tha thise twi guys were dishonest ,showed no empathy and wasted our valuable time with empty promises while running their shady business.
Hello, The company take time to respond to you. Really poor communication. No information for the transportation. We contacted them by message and never receive any information. (Price is 70USD so for that price we will eclxcept something professional… Not recommended, to avoid as a website.
Website was intuitive and easy to navigate. The buying process of the tickets is super easy and quick and we got exactly what we ordered. The tickets collection was super organized and easy, right in front of copacabana beach. No long queues, very friendly and informative service. The staff were very patience and gave us lots of info about the carnival in Rio which made our experience much better!

The website was difficult to navigate and provides no information about the company. Payment is taken via PayPal and is sent to an Israeli firm. Responses are sparse and customer service is highly unprofessional.
