Great value for money
Perfect starter AR. Functions flawlessly and accuracy is decent out of the box.

Groups well with quality ammo and cycles everything I've fed it. The finish has held up well to regular use. Only wish it came with a better charging handle from the factory.

Put over 2000 rounds through mine with minimal cleaning and it just keeps going. Not the fanciest AR out there but it gets the job done consistently.

This rifle exceeded my expectations for the price point. The build quality is impressive and it's been reliable through hundreds of rounds. Only minor complaint is the basic furniture, but that's easily upgraded.
It's functional and reliable, which is what matters most. The stock trigger is heavy and creepy, and the basic handguard limits accessory options. Still, it's a solid foundation to build on.
The AR-556 is a competent rifle that does what it's supposed to do. Trigger could be better and the handguard gets pretty warm after extended shooting sessions. Overall it's reliable and well-made for the price range.
It's an okay rifle but nothing special. Accuracy is acceptable but not impressive, and some of the components feel a bit cheap. For the money, there might be better options available.
Couldn't be happier with this rifle. It's accurate, reliable, and well-built. Perfect introduction to the AR platform without breaking the bank. Already planning my next Ruger purchase.
The basic configuration is pretty bare bones, but that's actually a positive if you plan to upgrade components. The receiver and barrel are solid, which is what really matters. I've since upgraded the trigger, stock, and handguard.
The rifle itself is fine, but I had issues with the gas system initially. Had to send it back for warranty work. Customer service was good though, and it's been running fine since the repair.
No frills, no problems. Basic but effective AR that's perfect for someone who wants reliability without paying premium prices.
Everything was properly torqued and finished nicely. The rifle shoots consistently and I haven't had any feeding issues. The iron sights are adequate though I added an optic fairly quickly.
