Paperclips Magazine - working with Legaia Books - gave Me (Struggles of the Soul) a great presence in their January 2018 Issue. Their work is excellent. Thanks! Hollis Arban
after hearing from my friend about paperclips magazine i called them to advertise and promote the series. thank you for helping me with my books and assisting me promote my booksigning. your social media marketing is the best.
Paperclips Magazine charges huge fees to writers who buy ads and interviews, and its Philippines-based parent company, Legaia Books, aggressively solicits writers with misleading emails that promise exposure and book sales that Paperclips has no ability to deliver, since the primary audience for the magazine is the writers who buy space in it. In addition to all this paid content, Paperclips includes barely literate articles by magazine staff, for whom English is clearly a second language, and has used articles by outside writers without their permission. Paperclips' website is rife with plagiarism. Paperclips is not a real magazine or promotional service, but a cynical scheme to make money from unwary writers. For a fuller discussion, along with evidence that backs up all of the above, see the article on Paperclips Magazine from publishing industry watchdog group Writer Beware. You can find it on the Writer Beware blog.
I found the staff at Paperclips Magazine to be courteous, efficient and professional, and the magazine to be interesting, relevant and timely. The magazine has a well-organized and attractive overall appearance. A company that is is responsive to its clientele, and produces such a quality publication, most certainly has earned my trust.
Having been associated with Paperclips Magazine for a couple of months now, I have found them to be extremely helpful and attentive. They have been totally honest and the most wonderful company my husband and I have dealt with in publishing for 10 years now. I appreciate everything they have helped us with and would highly recommend them to anyone.
Excellent design and excellent advertising!
In a field where we extend ourselves, where we expose our inner fears and desires, and we are forced to trust strangers with that part of our souls, we hope that they don't let us down, steal our work or just not deliver what was promised. Working with Paperclips and Nate Parker was one of those times it paid off; they did all that they promised and more; they exceeded my best hopes and expectations and delivered for me. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone that has ever dreamed about doing something like this; if that door opens for you, jump through it with both feet, you won't regret it.
What they say is what they deliver. Patience, quality and consistency describe their work ethic. Transparency and respect made it a pleasure. Thank you, Bradley.
I am very happy to try out the Paperclips on-line magazine. The articles look very interesting and inviting to look at. My ad on my newest 2nd edition book, Puddinhead is attractive and I am looking forward to getting the right attention I need to sell my books. Thank you Paperclips Magazine
I knew nothing about paperclips magazine but my experience has been quite pleasant. Now the test comes to see if my books sell. Then the real rating comes as a result of the Paperclips Magazine.
Good service all the way around it’s been a pleasure working with them.
Clearly the marketing team I had gave attention to detail and ample time to their customers. I never felt rushed, always encountered immediate responses and polite representatives who focused on the task and did an outstanding job. Bradley and his team are the best.
If you want an immediate opinion, I've found the process slower than expected and the fact the magazine cannot be accessed via a smart phone seemed conveniently left out of the sales discussion. That being said, your staff, especially Bradley Perkins, were very quick in their response to my questions and in making adjustments/corrections. The presentation of the ad/article appeared professional. I will be glad to give another review after we see if the online "book tour" results match up with expectations.
My experience with Paperclips has been wonderful and would recommend to others.
Paperclips Magazine staff were very professional, talented and supportive to this author in the February 2017 issue of my Full Page AD and four page Article. I contracted with Paperclip Magazine/Legaia Books in the 2nd Edition of my book BLENDING FAMILIES 2nd Edition. Michael Luke and Bruce Miller were very helpful and encouraging to me. Bruce Miller, Project Coordinator, and staff were creative and responsive to all my requests. I rate them 4.5 on 5 scale. Michael Luke, Marketing Director, has given me effective marketing strategies and publicity in the publishing of 2nd Edition, April 2017 and in the current marketing of my book in Paperclips Magazine, July 2017, Issue 38. I am appreciative of his professional work and support. Marketing rating 4.5 on 5 point scale. Max Price
Paperclips magazine gave me back faith in the knowledge their is help for authors at a time when I did not know where to turn, I was let down by two previous publishers. Paperclips reached out to me and gave me hope steering me in the right direction. The staff at Paperclips are always ready to help and advice and are very approachable. I am very happy with the way Paperclips Magazine have taken me under their wing and are giving my children's books the very best exposure and marketing.
