SAV très décevant et bague trop fragile

J’ai acheté une bague chez Mara Paris qui s’est cassée simplement en la manipulant, sans aucune tentative d’ajustement de ma part. Malheureusement, le service client n’a rien voulu entendre. J’ai dû échanger de nombreux emails pour tenter de ne pas perdre l’intégralité du montant dépensé auquel s´ajoutent les frais de port pour la retourner. Malgré mes explications claires et insistantes, je n’ai pas obtenu de remboursement. On m’a finalement proposé un avoir, mais uniquement après beaucoup d’insistance. Je trouve cette expérience extrêmement décevante et peu professionnelle. Ce sera la première et la dernière fois que j’achète chez Mara Paris. Je transmets un extrait d'un de mes échanges afin de mieux exposer la situation: Je vous remercie pour votre réponse et pour l’analyse effectuée par vos "experts". Cependant, je ne suis pas d’accord avec les conclusions présentées. La bague s’est cassée d’elle-même, sans aucune manipulation de ma part visant à ajuster sa taille. Je n’ai jamais tenté de la modifier, et je suis convaincue qu’il s’agit d’un problème de fabrication ou de matériau. J’ai déjà dépensé 10 € pour le retour de la bague et vous m'imposez 25 € pour les frais de recyclage, ce qui représente un coût supplémentaire important pour un produit qui s’est avéré défectueux. Bien que j’accepte l’échange pour éviter de perdre mon argent, je ne souhaite pas recevoir le même modèle, car je considère que celui-ci n’est pas fiable et que la situation pourrait se répéter. En toute équité, je pense que la solution la plus juste serait un remboursement de ma commande. Cela me permettrait de récupérer mon argent et de mettre un terme à cette situation insatisfaisante.

Extremely Disappointed – Poor Quality & Poor Customer Service

I purchased the Column Drum Bold Ring Silver from Mara Paris (€200) as a Christmas gift for my wife. The ring looked beautiful at first, but after only a few occasional wears (less than 10 times), it developed an ugly yellow discoloration that makes it look cheap and completely different from how it appears on their website. I contacted Mara Paris for a complaint back in April and followed every step they asked—first trying their polishing cloth (which didn’t work), then sending the ring back to them for a “professional cleaning.” They returned it to me, but the discoloration was still visible and the ring looked nothing like the advertised photos. Despite this, they refused to issue a refund, claiming it’s a “natural oxidation of silver” and blaming it on external factors like air, cosmetics, or my wife’s skin. This excuse feels like they’re simply refusing to take responsibility. I’ve bought other silver jewelry before and never had this issue after such minimal wear. They were polite in emails, but ultimately dismissive and unwilling to admit there’s a problem with the product. For a €200 ring, I expected far better quality and customer care. I now have a ring that still looks cheap and worn despite all their "professional" cleaning. Sadly, I cannot recommend Mara Paris. Be very careful before ordering—what you receive may not look like the photos for long. _____ Now in August 2025: After many emails and exchanges, you wrote that there was nothing more you could do for me and that the ring was perfectly fine. I had to contact the European Consumer Centres Network, who then reached out to you, and only after that did you refund the money. The entire process took more than four months and involved numerous emails.

J’ai commandé 3 bijoux chez eux en ligne. J’ouvre la boîte et c’est le mauvais bijou dans ma boîte. Je les contacte et pendant une semaine je n’ai pas de retour. Je dois me rendre en boutique, de moi même pour leur expliquer le problème. Ils me demandent de faire un échange du bijou ! J’ai jamais vu ça. Ils s’étonnent que je n’ai pas ramené le bijou à échanger. Suis je à leur service ? J’ai loupé un truc dans l’évolution de la relation client ? Ils me proposent un simple bon d’achat pour s’excuser… est-ce que j’ai envie de recommander ? Non je ne crois pas. À la limite tu fais une réduction sur le bijou, tu l’offres mais tu proposes pas un bon d’achat. Pire expérience et je n’ai pas pu porter mes bijoux lors de mon événement vu le temps de réponse du service après vente. Ils ont une très mauvaise attitude dans leur réponse sur Google. J’ai jamais pris la parole négativement pour une marque mais là c’est trop.

J’ai acheté 2 bagues Mara pour leur design, mais qu’elle a était ma surprise de constater leur fragilité de l’argent: en deux semaines l’argent a beaucoup noirci, les bagues ont commencées à avoir des micro rayures. Aucune bague en argent avant ne m’avait fait ça, je n’ai pas une peau qui fait noircir l’argent. Les bagues Mara semblent n’avoir aucune protection. Je suppose qu’elles ne sont pas rodiées, fragiles et leur prix n’est pas donné donc je m’attendais à mieux. Impossible d’appeler la boutique pour leur faire part du problème , je n’ai pas trouvé de téléphone et je ne vois que de très mauvaises critiques de service clients, pour les réponses aux critiques: le client semble avoir toujours tord de ce que j’ai pu lire des avis. J’ai dû faire rodier moi-même les bagues et ajouter 40 euros a chacune des bagues, alors qu’elles étaient quasi neuves. C’est très bien d’avoir un joli design mais la qualité ne suit pas du tout et les prix sont donc à mon avis, trop élevé si les bagues s’abîment aussi rapidement.

J’ai commandé une bague sur le site en juillet. Celle ci ne me convenait pas car trop volumineuse donc je l’ai immédiatement remise dans sa boîte et effectué un retour. Après avoir payé 2 fois les frais de retours car la première fois ils ne sont pas allé chercher le recommandé à la poste, le service client a refusé de me rembourser car soit disant la bague présentait des marques d’usures alors qu’elle n’a jamais été porté si ce n’est 2 min pour essayage. Après ça il a fallu plusieurs mails et plusieurs semaines pour pouvoir récupérer la bague qu’ils refusaient de me rembourser prétextant qu’ils n’avaient pas vu mes mails. Faites attention si vous commander sur le site, faites bien des photos avant de renvoyer le produit car ils feront tout pour ne pas vous rembourser ! Au delà de ça, si un bijoux qui a été essayé 2 min présente déjà des traces d’usures, c’est vraiment que la qualité est médiocre !!

Je mets deux étoiles pour le design original et élégant des bijoux. Mais il ne faut pas se tromper de taille, ni de modèle car les bijoux sont tellement fragiles et le service client tellement rigide (voire malhonnête) que les retours sont très compliqués. Le bijou (en l'occurence bague en argent) même essayé sur un doigt 10 minutes à l'intérieur sera considéré comme porté et on y trouvera forcément une rayure à la loupe. On refusera donc le retour, sauf moyennant la somme de 25 euros ! Se permet de faire la leçon en plus de mentir lors des réponses aux avis sur Google. Tout cela sans respect pour la somme relativement importante investie dans ces bijoux (bague argent 160 euros)

Les bijoux ont beau être magnifiques la qualité est lamentable. J’ai acheté 3 bijoux en mars, la boucle d’oreille s’est cassé 1mois et demi plus tard et la bague, bien qu’ayant suivi les consignes d’entretien à la lettre, a perdu 30% de sa dorure et présente des fissures. Je m’étais fait un cadeau en pensant garder ces bijoux des années, forcée de constater qu’ils tiennent beaucoup beaucoup moins longtemps que les bijoux cheap de grandes distributions. Le seul truc qui a tenu, pour le moment, c’est le earcuff. Bref les prix sont basés sur la petite fame de la marque et en aucun cas sur la qualité. Vraiment fuyez.

Worst online shopping experience

At first I really liked some of the designs, however, when the jewelry finally arrived in Germany only half of my order arrived. The designs were not as beautiful as I expected them to be from the online photos so I sent all of them back but never received the money cause the company argued the items were used which was not true. The only necklace I liked changed from silver to black within 2 days so I sent it back as well and the company won’t pay the money back as they say I wore it which is true but the quality is surely not real silver so I demanded my money back! The customer service was friendly but lied to me and all in all it’s the worst online shopping experience I’ve ever had. Never again!

They refuse refunds so be aware of your consumer rights

TL;DR: They try to avoid refunding at all cost so my advice to anyone considering an online purchase: 1. Be aware of your consumer rights in the EU (google "your Europe guarantees and returns") 2. Use PayPal so you can submit a complaint through their resolution center. If you don't have PayPal, you can also contact the European Consumer Centre in your EU country (google "ECC-Net"). Experts in their network can offer free advice. In my case, I bought 2 rings and a set of earrings. After trying them on a few minutes, it was clear that the rings didn't fit me and the earrings were causing an allergic reaction. So I arranged the return (at my expense) within the next 2 days. I was then contacted by the customer service with a refusal to refund, claiming the products I returned showed traces of "lengthy usage". To further discourage me, they even included photos with jewelry showing used signs and next to a paper tag with my name (this bears no proof, as they could've simply printed my name and took photos of some worn items from their showroom). Keep in mind that their products were in my possession for less than 48h and I took them out of the box for literally less than 5 minutes. Not to mention that their website boosts the high and extended quality of their products, alleging they can be "passed down from generation to generation" (in this case, maybe only in a vacuum sealed bag and never touched). I reported the problem to Paypal ("report a problem" link on the payment details section). I also thoroughly explained my situation when I submitted my request to refund. During the resolution process, Mara Paris offered a lower refund that included "recycling fees". Such fees are nowhere mentioned on their website and I didn't find any transparent information online. Therefore, I dismissed them as arbitrary and a greenwashing tactic so I refused them. In the end, I was fully refunded after about a month from the beginning of the process.

Aliexpress dressed up as luxury

I purchased a 700€ "worth" gold necklace for a present. It arrived in a mediocre packaging which was my first disappointment. Really no aspirational packaging, no detail nor excitement about the same. In the checkout there was no option to ask for gifting packaging so no choice to level up.My next step was to open the box to check the piece. What I first noticed is that it did not come with any certification, another red flag... Being a 18k Gold Vermeil you expect a certificate as it is normal in real jewelry stores. Then, I tried to open the necklace and it did not, it came defective. A 700€ necklace came defective. It seems they do not check the pieces before they ship them. I contacted the brand the very same day after receiving the piece to ask for a video of how the necklace opened. As I purchased the piece for a present, I read in advance with a lot of detail their strict return policy. Because they are hiper strict and because I have common sense,  I did not apply any kind of force. I made 3 very delicate soft attempts with my fingertips and I recorded myself doing so. Common sense tells me that if it is not easily open it means something is off so I contacted the brand again asking for a replacement. Their fine or "demi-fine" jewelry as they say leaves much to be desired. They responded to me politely affirming that in fact there was something wrong about the necklace and apologized. At that point I wanted a replacement even though I was very disappointed, as I knew the person the gift is for really really wants it. So, I sent back the piece perfectly in the original package as it came and to my surprise they got back to me saying that I deformed the piece and that their policy does not allow returns. They made the outrageous claim that the necklace's form was heavily modified with force by ME!!!!! The politeness turned into blaming. So now it's my word against theirs. It is unbelievable that they try to blame me for their mistake. It is completely impossible I deformed in any way the necklace; in any way. I will not accept a partial refund nor a substitution of the necklace. Reading the rest of the Google reviews it is clear that one cannot trust this brand no matter what celebrities use their jewelry. For sure they send celebrities pieces that are not defective. Incredibly shocked, sad and angry about this experience. Not only are they calling me a liar by saying I caused the defect but they are manipulating and using their return policy to turn the tables.Learnings:- Do not purchase from IG brands- Never purchase jewelry Online EVER - Always pay with Paypal to avoid fraudNow I am trying to get my refund in the best hope that I will. Very sad and frustrating experience. I am very afraid about the resolution of the conflict as the amount is really high for me, I cannot afford losing the money. I genuinely and truly did nothing. I will put all customer complaints as possible to defend my case.

Just don't buy here

Just don't buy here. I purchased a ring last year and they send me the wrong size. When I sent it back they claimed I had somehow altered it. There was no solution to be found with the seller. They were very uncommunicative and just branded me some sort of criminal. Luckily I bought my ring through PayPal and after a lengthy discussion with them and having supplied a lot of evidence PayPal was gracious to refund me my money. My advice: go to your local jeweler and don't shop online at a store where you don't know who is selling.

They refused a refund (that I had pay for international postage for!!!) because they deemed the earrings used when they were literally never used, not even once. And then they blocked me on instagram for trying to call them out about it. The entire conversation with them was also petty AF- stay away from this brand.

Bague Sweet Thing

Je viens de recevoir la bague sweet thing en argent, cette bague est à offrir mais je n’ai pas manqué de l’essayer, elle est magnifique, originale, sculpturale. Heureusement mon anniversaire est dans 3 mois et je ne vais pas manquer d’essayer de me la faire offrir à mon tour : ))) . Je l’ai mise à mon majeur en taille 60 et elle est parfaite au niveau taille. Le service client est parfait, aimable, réactif et professionnel. Je l’ai reçu très rapidement. Très bonne expérience! Ohrring kommt zerbrochen an - Verkäufer uneinsichtig

Ich habe vier Ohrringe bestellt - ein Paar und zwei Mono-Ohrringe. Ein Ohrring (Teile des Paars) kam zerbrochen in zwei Teile bei mir an. (Die übrigen Artikel waren intakt, allerdings wirken nicht hochwertig, entsprechen nicht dem Preis). Ich habe beim Verkäufer sofort binnen einer Stunde nach der Zustellung den gebrochenen Artikel gemeldet und Foto geschickt. Als Rückmeldung habe ich Unterstellungen erhalten, dass ich nur selbst dafür verantwortlich sein kann, da ganze 8 Mitarbeiter an der Produktion dran waren (hä?? was soll das?) und die Artikel vor dem Versand gut geprüft werden... Ohne Worte. Derartige Unverschämtheit ist mir noch bei keinem seriösen Händlerunternehmen passiert. Nie wieder. Finger weg.
