LTL Language School

I went to Seoul to learn Korean and in under a month my skills improved significantly. My teacher - Kyle - focused on speaking without making it stressful experience (which is super important to me) so now I can use my Korean more comfortably. Everyone in administration is eager to help with everything and anything. Made some friends on the way as well. It was an amazing experience and I will be back in the future. If you consider learning Korean in Korea with native speakers, you should definitely check this place out

I sent my 12-year-old son, who speaks both English and Japanese, to study in Beijing. The quality of the teachers was excellent—their teaching skills are strong, they are very supportive, and their ability to speak English fluently made the whole experience worry-free for both parents and children. Beyond the classroom, my son also had the chance to visit historical sites such as the Great Wall, which added a meaningful cultural dimension to his learning. Overall, it was an environment where he could grow academically and personally with confidence. I truly believe this experience will benefit his future, and I am already thinking that I would like to send my children again.

The Ltl school is really a great school for people to learn Chinese, their learning methods are very efficient to learn fast, basic words and sentences for common life. The ambience with the others students was great, and the teachers where very kind while giving good Chinese lessons. The school location is also easily accessible by metro and some restaurants and supermarkets can be found below the school’s building. I was in the teenage group. every afternoon there were organised visits to all the major tourist sites in and around Beijing, as well as other cultural activities. It was very well organised, well supervised and very interesting. The host family was lovely, very pleasant, and I was very well looked after. What's more, even though they spoke English, discussions were often in Chinese, which allowed me to improve my level even further. It was a very nice experience in this school, I really recommend it.

I and my sister had studied 中文 at LTL 成都 for 5 weeks and had a great time! I came to 成都 from having close to zero Chinese knowledge to passing HSK 2 on the last day! I had an amazing time learning with my Chinese teacher, Ying 老师. She was very energetic and caring. She always tried her best to answer and clarify whenever I had questions relating to Chinese grammar, vocabulary, etc. She is very knowlegable about Chengdu and knows lots about tourist locations, restaurants, etc. LTL Chengdu is located at a very convenient location, only a few minutes of walking distance to IFS, Chengdu's city center. The building which LTL Chengdu is located at is also really nice, it has a few coffee shops, study areas, a gym and also located near several milktea shops, restaurants and convenice stores. Every Thursday evening, there will be a social gathering event happening at LTL Chendu. It's a great time to socialize with other Chinese learners and teachers. During my time at LTL Chengdu, there weren't a lot of events to participate in. But I got to meet with other Chinese learners from all around the world with varying Chinese skill levels. It was very interesting to know each others' Chinese learning experiences and their own native language, culture. Overall, LTL Chengdu is a great place to learn Chinese, to meet with other international learners and has lots of flexibility for you to explore Chengdu.

LTL provided exactly what I was looking for when traveling abroad. A genuine homestay experience, a multitude of opportunities to practice and learn Mandarin, a support network to navigate the transition to a different country, and a flexible educational program that accommodates any travel schedule. My only disclaimer is to note that LTL classes at the Beijing school include students of all ages, so teenagers and adults are mixed.

LTL was an amazing experience, and I recommend it for anyone serious about learning Korean! I participated in group and 1-on-1 classes, so I had about 7 hours of class a day. With LTL, the improvements in my Korean skills very very positive and noticeable! My teacher, Chae Yunjeong, is a wonderful teacher and person. She made language learning fun, engaging, and entertaining! I highly recommend her. Also, anyone considering LTL should also consider staying with a host family. For me, it was an essential part of my experience with LTL, and also played a large role in my language improvement. Overall, I highly recommend LTL!

Based on my experience, LTL language school is an excellent school with top quality personal tuition. I attended the Beijing branch of the school for two weeks from end July to early August 2025. My level is upper intermediate (currently preparing for HSK5) and I had personal tuition with Alice four hours a day. Alice was outstanding, and I made significant progress. In addition to the in class activities, we also did some outings together , such as going to a market. This provided a great opportunity to practice mandarin in "real life" settings. The school was also helpful with organising tourist activities such as trips to the Great Wall. In summary, only positive to say.

I have sent my kids to the LTL immersion program in Chengde, and it was really amazing. From the initial discussion to develop the program, choosing Chengde, to the selection of the host family and Chinese teacher, the overall stay, everything was well organised. TLT organizers have tried their best to meet my requirements, always with a smile. The program director and the hoat families have been really kind and caring for my kids, making their stay unforgettable. Spending time in Chengde was also a good decision, as it was total immersion, enabling my kids to improve on their Mandarin, instead of relying on English. Overall great experience and highly recommend.

Great support, teachers didatics are perfect, I got what I expected

I had a great time at LTL Beijing and Chengdu. I especially enjoyed the relaxed athmosphere in Chengdu and the friendly and helpful teams. My teacher Unicorn was amazing and helped me learn a lot in a short time!🫶

Our son had one of the most unforgettable experiences with the LTL Tokyo program over the summer! He found it easy to stay engaged with four hours of classes each day and small groups of about 6 to 10 students. Miyu-sensei was a fantastic teacher, very enthusiastic and positive, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable! In the afternoons, they explored various parts of Tokyo while learning about Japanese culture. Some of his favorite moments were with Patricia and Kai, who led the city excursions and were a lot of fun to be around! They visited Gotokuji Shrine, famous for its lucky cat statues, participated in a traditional matcha tea ceremony, and even went white-water rafting on the weekend, which was a fantastic break from the city. He stayed with a wonderful host family, and we are genuinely thankful to them for their warm welcome and kindness in making him feel at home. Living with them gave him more daily chances to practice Japanese and learn about everyday life, which helped increase his confidence with the language. A big thank you to Sabatino and Elli, the program coordinators, for their kindness and support - they really made everything easier! We truly recommend this program to anyone who wants to improve their Japanese speaking and writing skills, while really getting to appreciate Japan's wonderful rich culture! It is hard to imagine a more rewarding experience - with wonderful teachers, captivating history, beautiful nature and traditions, and unforgettable memories! Our son would love to return next year!

I've been at LTL Chengdu for two weeks now, and it’s been a great experience so far. From the first day, everyone at LTL has been welcoming and very supportive. The entire team is helpful and creates a great learning atmosphere. My teacher, [Panpan] has been amazing! As a beginner, I really appreciate how she tailors lessons to match her students' level and learning pace. Her teaching style has made difference in my progress, and I feel more confident. I’m excited for and look foward to the weeks ahead!

I had a wonderful experience. It was my first time in China and I felt support from both the host family and the school. The ltl atmosphere is very good both teachers and students are very good. I loved the lessons both because of the teacher and the fact that there are few students so the teacher can focus on every student in detail. The school also offered every week activities in Beijing very fun. I would do this again !

I had a wonderful experience at the LTL school in Chengdu! As a complete beginner in Chinese, I was lucky to have Unicorn as my teacher, she was patient, clear, and made every lesson enjoyable and effective. A big thank you to PanPan and Mandy as well for their incredible friendliness and guidance throughout the week. They made everything smoother, from helping us settle in to sharing great tips on what to see in Chengdu. I especially loved the Thursday event, it was a great way to connect with others and experience the local culture. Highly recommended!

The school atmosphere was great and everyone, from the teachers to the students, were so nice! I really enjoyed my two months in Chengdu and really recommend! Regardless of age, nationality or prior experience I do truly think you will have a great time with LTL!

I studied in Saigon for 3 weeks and I wouldn’t change anything about my experience! My teacher (Edward) was amazing and always willing to go on whatever adventure I could think up. He always made me feel comfortable speaking with strangers because I knew he had my back. I could not have asked for a better teacher! My homestay family was also amazing and extremely welcoming. My 3 weeks flew by but the people I met really made the experience for me. I would definitely do it again in the future.

I spent 5 weeks at LTL Beijing and I had a lot of fun! The activities really helped me discover new places in the city but also get to know the culture. The teachers are all really kind and will take their time to explain any doubts you may have. It was also a great opportunity to make new friends from all over the world

I've been studying with LTL for more than 4 years now, online while I'm at home, and then in Beijing, Shanghai & Chengdu (all of them as a solo traveller, so trust being the key word!). All the teachers I've met are not only knowledgeable and well prepared but also friendly, patient and helpful. The host families in China have all fulfilled my expectations, and I'm still in touch with most of them. Forever grateful to LTL for helping me make my dream come true!

This year our 13yr old son traveled alone to Tokyo to attend the LTL Tokyo summer Camp! Of course we were nervous sending our son around the world alone but it was the best decision we made as parents. The LTL staff did everything to ease our concerns. We had virtual meetings where all our questions were answered and Ranko’s level could be evaluated. Their attention to every detail of his stay was top notch. Our son enjoyed being immersed in the culture while learning Japanese. Focused class time combined with amazing interactive excursions made this camp an amazing experience. I highly recommend it.

I loved everything about LTL Mandarin School in Taipei! From the very first day, the organization and attention to students were outstanding. The staff is incredibly responsive and friendly, making sure every student feels welcome and supported. My 10-year-old son joined the program and his host family was wonderful. Living with a local Taiwanese family was the highlight of the experience-they treated my child like their own, made him feel at home. The teachers at LTL Taipei are exceptional-patient, engaging, and skilled at making lessons fun while ensuring real progress. The school’s immersive approach, combined with small class sizes and cultural activities, made learning feel effortless and enjoyable. Plus, Taipei itself is an amazing city for young learners-safe, vibrant, and full of friendly people. Thank you to the entire LTL team for this life-changing experience!
