    Terrible website (awful interface).

Terrible website and interface. Looks like it was designed and built sometime around 1999 (very outdated). I would not believe the reviews you have read here. I personally believe they are most likely fake reviews. I believe the reduced course fee on Groupon from £499 to £49 is a bit of a scam. Please also look at how many of the 'great reviews' left here are from people who have only left this 1 review on Trustpilot. Again, this is TERRIBLE! I highly recommend you avoid! After looking through the '1st module' it was obvious this is outdated and very basic at best. You would find far far better free courses on YouTube. + Yes, I created a TrustPilot account to review this company so this is my first review though intend to review many more (all my reviews including this one will be very genuine).

I have taken many online photography…

I have taken many online photography courses over the years but I found iphotography course a really refreshing, relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable learning experience. The lessons are delivered online professionally through a combination of text, video, animation and beautiful imagery to explain each step in the photography process. While I'm no beginner it was very useful to 'relearn' much of the stuff I already knew but in a different style. The tutors were very helpful too and the gallery is a brilliant and innovative way for learners like me to gain useful feedback to our photos. Well done iphotography!

Initial problems encountered but company worked hard to support and resolve

I had a lot of trouble accessing the course and did, in fact, write a poor review based on this experience. However, the company did contact me and have been very supportive in resolving the issues. I now look forward to enjoying the course and gaining from it

    Good starting point

Loved the course when I first started and had great feedback which was constructive from the tutors....don't seem to get feedback any more or it is not consistent and same people recognised for photos ...

    Very impressed and would recommend

I took up photography as a hobby and started by purchasing an entry level DSLR camera. The camera was taking great shots on auto but I wanted to know how to use it properly and use all the features the camera was capable off but did not know where to start. This course has been incredibly helpful and I have learnt far more than I could have ever imagined and I have only completed 8 of the 18 modules. If you love photography and don't know where to start, then this course will be a great help and benefit you immensely.

    Fantastic

I thoroughly enjoyed this course. It started off nicely with all the basics. Then gathered speed going into considerable depth most aspects of photography you would require if you wanted to take your photography a little more seriously.. Exciting, challenging rewarding. I got out of this course far more that ever I expected. My understanding, and of course my photography has changed completely for the better. Thank you Iphotography.

Easy, fast, convenient online course surpasses expectations!

Had been wanting to take an online photography class that would help gain a little more insight on what makes a good photo and photographer. This course had it all. The modules were easy to get through and could be accessed on my computer at home or on my iPad on the go! It was very convenient and have already recommended it to friends. With a little dedication and focus, I was able to complete the course in 4-5 weeks time, no problem. I've already noticed a tremendous improvement in the quality of my photographs. I have very happy customers and hope to continue to build an impressive portfolio with what I've learned with iPhotography Course.

    Outstanding

The iphotography course has given much insight into the various elements in photography, many of which one would not necessarily think of. I have enjoyed the courses offered, and although I am only planning on using the information to help me better understand how to use my camera more successfully, I do not plan on using the same professionally. The information is certainly there for an individual planning on making a career or augmenting their income. The only criticism i have of the program originated in the last few courses. I think there are much better materials out there that would teach these areas, so they could be easier understood. I am a photoshop Elements 11 user and teachucomp.com has an extremely easy to follow course for all photoshop programs. Thank you for your insight and valuable teaching throughout the course.

Iphotographycourse takes you where you wanna go

I have enjoyed every single second with this course. It is so clear, so full of information and tips and gives you so much you need to know. I started when I had just bought my first DSLR ever, and didn't have much skills or even the knowledge, what would be possible with my camera. Now, when I have finished the Iphotographycourse, I feel very sure and comfortable with my camera and what is really important is, that I feel confident and even talented as a photographer! I really loved the course.

have seen big difference in the standard of my images.

I have graded it 4 stars due to the amount I have learnt and have improved with my photography. However, although tests were easy, I sometimes found that how questions were worded they were a little hard to understand occasionally. I understand that aspects needed repeating in different styles for people to grasp it, but with some things it was too repetitive. To be honest half way through I got a little bored of the course, just reading powerpoint like presentations. If different methods had been used throughout, example more videos like in modules 17 & 18, I think I may have stayed focused on the course and completed it quicker. I have got a lot from the course though, and would recommend a photography course to anyone that has an interest.

Made me want to pickup my camera and go shooting.

I really liked the first 16 modules. I coverd the basics which is always helpful. The last two module were interesting, but post processing is a big subject, and could be a class in itself. I'm not a heavy photoshop, but I do use it occasionally, its only a tool. It all about your workflow and there's another deep subject. I could not get to the course selections for 17and18 after I exited. I had to go back to module 16 and select "take the test". From there I could get to select module. Also after I completed module 17 and 18, they didn't show up in my library. I did get two copies of module 11.

    fun, enjoyable education

Got to admit, started the course and flew through the first 6 or 7 modules (within one day!) However, they started to get longer, and more words were added. My mind was getting cluttered and I began to switch off. Which was told by the dip in exam results - from 100% down to 80-90%. I then moved house and didn't have much spare time on my hands. Six months later, (3 days ago) I picked up from where I left off at module 8 or 9. I began the course and realised I had totally forgot everything I had learned. I had to recap and make notes. I then flew through the rest of the course applying my new found techniques to my own photography. The editing section is really helpful! Passed the course with a 91% grade which I am very pleased about! Overall, the course took me around two months to complete (minus my six month break). Next step, is to correctly apply my new knowledge by possibly attending a workshop to be shown exactly HOW to apply these tricks. I also want to invest in some new equipment. Possibly just a few of the cheaper stuff first, followed by the more expensive things later. The course id deffo worth a try ! :-)
