I explicitly deleted a credit card and added a new one when checking out, but they still charged the old card anyway. They don't care at all to take responsibility for their own mistake and their customer reps are ignorant

Grubhub has room for improvement based on customer feedback. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and expensive.

Awful experience! GH system delayed transmitting the order to the restaurant for an hour and 20 minutes! Then they blame the restaurant and driver for being late! Customer service says that since the order is 2 hours late, they’re giving me a refund AND going ahead and delivering the sandwich! I NEVER received the sandwich! Called customer service who said that since I was given a refund, there’s nothing else they can do!! Screwed up my entire evening! 🤦🏻♀️ Absolutely HATE GrubHub!!
Tell your drivers not to pickup any order that doesn’t have tamper proofed packaging or sealing it’s always gruhub then the food cold and not normal 45min-1hr late always gruhub tighten up grubhub stricken your requirements to your delivery service of “food”! not “amazon stuff”
Worst delivery service ever… ordered dinner for family that after over an hour of waiting canceled the order. Then did it again on second order. So we had to go out to eat. They didn’t refund our money just gave us credit. So tried to order again next day to have the exact same thing happen… so they take hundreds of dollars and won’t deliver my meals. Stay away

I am very disappointed with this service. Part of my order never arrived, and instead of fixing the problem by delivering the missing food, I was only offered a refund. This shows terrible customer service. I will not use Grubhub again and I do not recommend it to anyone.
Good customer service and after-delivery support combined with an easy-to-use interface - prefer this over UberEats
Forty minutes after the Grubhub driver picked up our food and after I had been watching. Him drive in the opposite direction he should be driving to get to our house, Grubhub calls to say that they were cancelling our order. The excuse given was that the driver was having car trouble, which was obviously a lie since I was watching him drive in the opposite direction using GrubHub’s GPS. GrubHub’s customer service declined to try to make the situation right. We have spent a great deal of money at GrubHub, but will not be using them again.
Last year I ordered thru Grubhub a few times but stopped after realizing it was too expensive, this year after not ordering for awhile, I visited their page to see the menu of a local pizzeria, they were offering a 10$ off 15$ perk, so I thought why not and started to order, when I went to check out there was no discount, it's just a bait and switch.
We have ordered many times with varying results, but this is the 3rd time that an order was taken, paid for and then cancelled. On the order tracking page the driver was on his way to the store to pick up our order and then the order was just cancelled with no notification and no reason. Grubhub states that their "elite support team" is "here for you" and yet you cannot contact them so I'm completely disgusted! We did get a refund, but I'd really like a reason.
Submitted a complaint the night our order was picked up. Followed up 3 days later, no resolution. Followed up 7 days later for a $5 credit result. DO YOUR JOBS! NEVER had this problem with Door Dash!
Food never arrived, called driver who said he was not working that evening. Terrible service. No response from company after giving their service a one star review.
Delivery kept getting pushed back, so we didn't receive our food until 1.15 hours AFTER THE FOOD WAS PICKED-UP, not simply ordered (figure that in, and you've got us at ~ 2 hours after order placed)!!! I began an online chat and shortly received a phone call from the driver, who actually asked me for directions: "Where you live?" 😧 He expected ME to give him directions AS HE WAS driving b/c his "phone wasn't working too well," despite knowing to call me while I was in a chat with Grubhub and delivering to MANY other people before us (I followed the tracker). When he finally showed up, he was driving a new car and wearing a wife beater 😮. He kept telling me he tried to call me but, you know...his phone wasn't working right. I will never, ever, NEVER USE GRUBHUB AGAIN!!!!
My food was cold, greasy and order was incomplete as the don't shop did not give driver donuts plus me and my babysitting child got sick off food. I demanded that whole order minus fees and tip be refunded to my payment card because we got very sick off food and only got a credit of 17,00 off a 50.00 order horrible won't use them again.
Grubhubs' App rarely updates the delivery/pickup time. On my most recently Order the App never updated that the Order was being prepared or was completed. App showed pickup time as 40-50 minutes from when Order was placed. When picked up Order, receipt showed Order had been ready within 20 minutes or Order. Don't have this problem with UberEats
I have ordered from Grubhub many times. Most of the time, the orders are fine. Sometimes I get the wrong dish. I understand mistakes happen, and what matters is how companies respond to mistakes. A recent poor experience with another company made me realize how well Grubhub has handled mistakes. They have always been responsive to problems. When I get the wrong food, they give me a full refund for the wrong dish. On the occasions where eating the wrong food would have made me sick, they gave me an extra credit on my next order.
Negative stars for this fraudulent company. They are very dishonest and will steal your money for wrong orders and not do anything about it. They hire from other countries that don’t speak English and read from a script and could care less.

GrubHub has this one Food Delivery Driver that goes by the name GODSON, I've had a problem with this driver twice, the first delivery coffee was spilled all over my donuts breakfast sandwich. I complained to GrubHub customer support. On another day, The 2nd delivery, this same guy named 'GODSON" delivered my order again from Dunkin Donuts, my bag was opened, looked as if the food was tamper. I put in another complaint to GRUBHUB customer support & told the company I do not want their delivery driver that goes by the 'GODSON" to deliver my food no more please. The COMPANY ENSURED ME THEY WOULD NEVER let him deliver my food again. Which was a lie, cause today that exact same driver"GODSON " picked up my Dunkin Donuts order & I made a report immediately when I seen his name pop up as my delivery driver. GRUBHUB INFORMED ME THERE WAS NOTHING THAT THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT!!!! & So I contact the driver & told him I do not want him delivering, not listening, dropped it off anyway. I trashed it then ordered through door dash. GRUBHUB SUCKS!!
GrubHub does not refund money. They delivered my order to the wrong house and refused to refund my money. They said they only offer GrubHub credits for failed orders. The last thing I need when I'm hangry is credits for a company I no longer want to do business with.
They deactivated my account because I went on a trip, and when I returned, they deactivated it and didn't reactivate it. And my grades were good, but they're the worst.
I had a terrible experience with this company. They are cheating me. I didn't know they do that. I chatted with an agent but it didn't help. I paid food charge with my phone when I ordered. Later they sent me an invoice to my email. After that, I got another email with overcharged. I wish I can upload them. I never use this company again.
GrubHub is a poor provider in general. Their drivers are slow and inattentive. Orders commonly arrived late, missing items and ill prepared. Their customer service leaves much to be desired as well. I think most would find their dining experience much better and less expensive by just going and picking it up themselves. GrubHub fails to provide the service they describe with any assurance of quality.
