BUYER BEWARE
BUYER BEWARE. Order placed, tried to cancel within 2 hours as on website cancellation policy, "full refund if within 12 hours". Did not honour. Order received and instructed to fill out form with return address to China. Order was 99.91, return was 84.00 with tracking for obvious reasons. All returns go to warehouse in China. Returned same day received July 14, 2025 as size was that of child's, not adults, despite cost, out of principle and that no one has to be subjected if fully aware again. Misleading as not Canadian company. Contact in Netherlands. When searching, comes up "shipping free" yet on website although 30 day returns "customer fully responsible". Free shipping in Canada BUT Returns are to China. Can provide full documentation to support, as well forwarded documentation to appropriate government department to investigate and RBC Credit card are aware. Still waiting for 99.91 refund since July 14, 2025, was told shipping cost would not be covered. A matter of principle....letting you know.
UPDATE: AUG. 21, 2025
Received notification via tracking that package was accepted at customs in China on July 22, 2025 and that package was received by Great Lake Fashion as it has been one month since returned. Notified Great Lake Fashion today and requested when refund of order and cost of return(as they had not honoured 24 hour cancellation) would be credited to my credit card. Waiting to hear back.
UPDATE AUG. 22, 2025
Received a automated response asking for me to send tracking number and notification that package was not received. Reminded "Ms. Brown" that the tracking number was provided on date of return July 14, 2025, as well in most recent email both in subject line and body of message Aug. 21, 2025.
UPDATE: AUG. 25, 2025
Subsequent to Great Lake Fashion indicating package was not received. Canada Post wrote up a "Service Ticket" and will be investigating and will send notification when package is received.
