Bashing my head against a brick wall with Flying Customer Service

I live in Australia and till now was always offered a discounted subscription to offset international postage. My renewal is due and the price has more than trebled!!!! As I live outside the US/Canada it is impossible to contact the magazine on the listed 1-800 number, yet every time I email the subscription department to explain this I get a response asking me to call them on the 1-800 number to sort it out. Are these people stupid or don't they read short, succinct and well explained emails???? I feel like I'm bashing my head against a brick wall with this team of mediocrities that don't care about providing customer service.

    IT IS HORRIBLE

IT IS HORRIBLE. I have subscribed for almost 40 years and they F'd it up quickly. It looks like a travel magazine and should be next to Conde Nast Traveler on the magazine rack. The issue that came out in August of 2022 hardly had anything about flying. Also, the renewal cards we all got said it was for so many issues, now that it is 4/year, they did not fulfill what they sold us.

    Former subscriber

I have been a subscriber for many years. When the new owner took over it is now nothing but a picture book full of ads. Its also only 4 times per year instead of 12. What really pushed me over the edge is an emailed message with a big article about a transgender pilot. It not like I'm not bombarded with this BS all day enough already now flying magazine has to lecture me on it. I will not renew.

I had a subscription for many years

I had a subscription for many years, but the new app, with no access to old magazines pushed me to cancel my subscription. Too much advertising, no customer support and now only 4 issues per year vs 12 issues only a few years ago did it for me. There are better magazines out there.

    Poor management in 2022

I've been a subscriber for over 50 years but will not renew. The new management has ruined the magazine by reducing from 12 informative monthly issues to 4 quarterly issues with little useful information. A glossy piece of crap. I will miss reading Dick Karl, Peter Garrison and Sam Weigel but only 4 times a year???

The magazine is practically all advertising. There was an article by some snowflake stating how scared he was of this weak coronavirus. Save it. I don’t need to hear about your shortcomings.
