Nice people who know their stuff
I needed to test whether I could reliably use DJI’s panorama modes to shoot wide angle photos on the DJI Mavic 4 Pro. Coming from a Mavic 3 with the 24mm lens I knew the tighter 28mm on the M4P was going to be an issue, but hoped the pano modes would provide a work around. To do this, I needed to visit a proper shop, staffed by people who would understand the issue and allow me to experiment with their demo model. The team at Drone Safe Store understood immediately and left me to process the resulting test shots to see if they would do what I needed. Try doing that shopping on-line. Not only that, when you phone them up, someone answers, imagine that, you phone a business and a real person answers…. brilliant. I bought the M4P and they even gave me a little goodie bag very of useful extras, for free. I can’t recommend them enough, friendly service from a great team who genuinely understand the products they are selling. Incidentally, the DJI pano modes don’t really work if you want to stitch raw files in Lightroom or Photoshop, but if you spin the camera into upright mode and take a sequence of vertical shots, lined up manually, they stitch perfectly and - so far at least, without any tell-tale distortion. Happy days !

I chose to visit the Drone Store instead of travelling to the DJI store in London, and I am glad I did. The store had all the products I was looking for, with knowledgeable staff who offered clear and helpful advice. Prices were competitive, and the location was easy to find with convenient parking. I purchased a DJI Mavic 4 Pro Drone along with accessories and am very pleased with both the service and the product. I would happily recommend the Drone Store to anyone considering a purchase.

As ever, I decided to purchase a uv filter for my mini 4 pro. Reviews I had read elsewhere said there was no actual need to have one fitted. As a photographer who has the larger camera and had fitted a lens as a ‘sacrificial’ just in case, I wanted one on my drone. One tiny item. Guess what it arrived as quickly as if it was a large item. Proving to me that indeed no order is too small for the staff at the Drone Safe Store. It arrived well packaged and delivered by DPD. Communication regarding tracking times. Brilliant.
