FRAUDSTER, CROOKE, AND TRICKY are the best ways to paint in words and portray these shady and dirty scammers.
Contractors Click is a fake foreign telemarketing company doing business as FANBASIS.COM that advertises itself as a roof leads provider alleged based on Dover, Delaware, offering service to roofing companies and independent contractors in partnership with Affirm who is their financial broker under the basis of deception and unlawful business practice. They misled us to sign a fraudulent electronic document to set up a payment plan for the monthly installment of 6 month to cover their services. This payment plan ends up being a personal loan of $6,521.74 approved by Affirm with an outrageous interest rate. This information was never given to us prior to the transaction. Also, there was no cancellation and refund policy addressed or explained. This is the way they enrich themselves to the detriment of the customer by getting paid upfront without providing any service to pursue profit at the expense and loss of new clients that are left in financial stress with massive deceitful and illicit debt.
This transaction is the result of a total set up of unfair and unlawful business practices and it will be treated as fraud or scam by Affirm as a third party and Contractors Click as a merchant that do not have verifiable physical address and legal and well stablish business structure. We simply asked for the cancellation of service before starting and the refund of 978.27 charged to our credit card on July 27th. Affirm and Contractors Click have refused to cancel and issue our refund in addition to ignore our emails, block our phone calls, neglect to care and act in a good faith to pro-actively find a satisfactory resolution to our request, doing just the opposite by taking the arbitrary, unwarranted and groundless posture to have our company liable for a nonexistent debt fabricated and forged on the basis of deception and threatening to enforce it with legal and financial actions in harm to our business and personal credit and security. In view of these dishonest, corrupt, illegal, and unethical wrongdoings, we have taken exceptional steps to pursue legal actions direct to protect our consumer rights and counteract this malfeasant, predatory and unfair business practice.
The reasons for the request for cancellation of service were for the lack of transparency, inadequate disclosure, mistrust, ineffective communication, unreliable service and deceptive marketing practice. The State of Texas has a very strong Consumer Protection Law enforced and oversees by the Consumer Protection Office of the Attorney General Ken Paxton. We intend to pursue this case to the full extent of the law to establish accountability and restitution by the defendant parties involved in this legal matter.
