Appalling Service
I ordered several items including a soakaway crate on 22nd April and paid for ‘express delivery’. Two days later I received a phone call asking if I would mind accepting a different soakaway crate, which I agreed to, but expressed that I really needed all these items by 26th April.
I received notification that all items had been dispatched on 24th April, but when FedEx came on 25th April half of the order was missing, including the soakaway crate. I immediately tried to get in touch with Construction Megastore but got their answer phone so left a voicemail requesting a call back.
After no call back came I called back and managed to speak to somebody. They acknowledged that the whole order had not been delivered, despite me receiving an email stating that it had, and said they would call me back. Unfortunately that call back never came and I have been left in limbo wondering where the rest of my order is and if I will actually receive what I’ve paid for.
I’ve tried to call again this morning, but despite the website saying their office was open, I was unable to get hold of anyone.
I needed all of the items today to commence a project at home, but now I will have to wait at least another week which causes a significant inconvenience for me.
It wouldn’t be as bad if I could get some communication back assuring me that they were dealing with my issue, and provided a date to deliver the rest of my order. But I’m left completely in limbo and on the dark.
It’s extremely frustrating and I wish that I had never ordered from Construction Megastore.
I’m giving a one star review only because there is not an option for zero!
