Colab is one of the hilights of my child's week. It is remarkably exactly what it claims to be - an interactive, fun learning experience that builds problem solving skills and social interaction at the same time. We can tell its going well from the weekly emails, but more than that from the fact that we can hear him laughing from the other side of the house when he is online. Big thanks to Alan and the whole crew, we have yet to meet a facilitator who is not fantastic.

My 12yo is a little timid, so she was extremely nervous before getting into the class. But everyone made her feel welcome, and she warmed up very fast. Her words exactly were “I really liked it, everyone was so nice, and the problem-solving games were fun. I found the parent email very comforting, as it provided insight into how my daughter performed on the cohort from someone else’s perspective. They provided some great information in that email that helped me see the educational value that Collab provides.

Aaron has been attending Colab for over four months now, and the growth we’ve seen has been truly impressive. There has been a noticeable improvement in his communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking. What really sets Colab apart is the team. Allan and Mia have been amazing—consistently providing thoughtful feedback and keeping us as parents fully in sync with Aaron’s progress, strengths, and areas for development. We always feel informed, supported, and confident in the process. Colab has been an incredibly positive experience for both Aaron and our family. We’re very grateful for the impact it’s had and highly recommend it to any parent looking to support their child’s growth in a meaningful way.

Collaboration Laboratory (aka CoLab) has been nothing short of an amazing experience for my two girls. For the past year or so my girls had the privilege of participating in CoLab's extremely fun and educational classes (with the same group of kids and moderators who they got to know very well over time and consider friends). CoLab not only helped my girls get more comfortable with speaking their minds, but also boosted their overall confidence in themselves. The dynamic and interactive classes taught my kids leadership, teamwork, and critical thinking skills through engaging games lead by expert moderators. Truly a wonderful and unique program that you cannot get anywhere else.

Very fun, engaging, and interactive program that facilitates creative thinking, self advocacy, active listening, and collaborative problem solving. Kids of all ages who live across the globe have the opportunity to interact and work together to reach a common goal. It addresses all the skills traditionally overlooked in typical learning environments essential to professional settings.

I am so happy for my son to have an opportunity to be a part of the early release of CoLab and still be a part of it today. He has made meaningful friendships and he loves the welcoming atmosphere that the adult instructors bring to the groups (and I appreciate the teams incredible response time and dedication to support). I can see how CoLab has widened his observational skills and I think that’s a big issue that people are lacking more so lately. CoLab is setting these kids up for mastering successful communication, problem solving, empathy, respect, and so much more. I absolutely would recommend CoLab to anyone!

My daughter absolutely loves her weekly CoLab sessions. Her instructors are and have been encouraging! As a result it’s been a safe space to voice new ideas, possible hypotheses of what may or may not work in a given situation. In addition, she’s had the opportunity to meet and collaborate with other students her age from all over the world.

My son was part of the CoLab community for about two years, and he thoroughly enjoyed his time with them. I have seen significant positive development in his confidence, team working and leadership skills. The entire CoLab team was fantastic, very accommodating, and regularly provided individual and helpful feedback. I highly recommend CoLab to other families!

When a 11 year old discusses - whether political manifestos are false marketing ,differences between equity and equality, how does financial arbitrage work, labubus and Roblox and who wins when people follow trends - one should ask - where is this ability to question coming from ? It is the result of the patient, intentional , thought-provoking sessions at Colab that have gently, through scaffolded discussions, nudged a young child to think, question and vocalise. In today's world, there is no skill more needed than the ability to discern and question, be articulate, and know how to share knowledge, negotiate with peers and accept constructive feedback. These are skills needed especially in the social media frenzied world that we live in. For my middle schooler it has been a boon to leave primary school with many of these skills. He waits every week for these sessions. This is a journey that is not to be missed.

We're based in the UK and time zones work just fine. This learning experience is brilliant. Our son gets to mix with children from a another country whilst also taking on some serious challenges that even some adults would struggle to grasp. The team and facilitators are brilliant and they manage to bring the topics to life in a authentic and genuine way. I can see a true growth in my son and his ability to problem solve, reason and debate have come on a mile.

My daughter has grown in leaps and bounds since she joined CoLab. She went from shedding tears of frustration during her trial class to confidently being able to voice her opinions and help others in her more recent classes. Her weekly classes with the facilitators and her teammates at CoLab have helped her build confidence, as well as team-working and problem solving skills. She looks forward to the challenges and puzzles that they face every week, and I enjoy listening to her tell me all about her experiences after class each week. The feedback we receive from the team at CoLab is also extremely thorough and insightful. The entire experience has been wonderful.

We joined CoLab in early 2024 and have been very satisfied with our experience. It has been instrumental in teaching our daughter essential skills, including self-confidence, effective peer collaboration, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and social-emotional intelligence. We want to share three key strengths that make CoLab outstanding: Facilitator Excellence: We are consistently impressed by the quality of the CoLab facilitators. They engage with children in an open-minded, encouraging, and truly facilitative manner, consistently prompting them to think for themselves, explore all possibilities, and support their claims with reasoning and data, rather than simply providing answers. Collaborative Culture: The learning environment maintains a cordial and collaborative atmosphere. There is a strong, continuous emphasis on being a dedicated team player, driving alignment during discussions, regularly checking in on teammates, and cheering for collective success. Detailed Parent Communication: We highly value the timely and detailed feedback provided by the facilitators after each class. This communication gives parents context on in-class activities, goals, and challenges, and offers reflective points that extend the learning process into the home environment. We are thankful for our CoLab experience and are excited for my daughter's continued exploration with CoLab.

Alan and the team provide an amazing program that facilitates learning valuable life skills in a stimulating and challenging manner. Our son has been with Co-Lab since their early days and I have seen him grow and be stretched in a variety of ways. The team nurtures and mentors the kids to be their best, and they genuinely care for the kids in their program. It has taught him how to work effectively with others, how to lead, how to collaborate, how to think outside of the square and to problem solve among many other skills. I highly recommend the program for anyone looking for a sincere group of people to help mentor and grow your child, something sorely lacking in the traditional school system.

CoLab is one of our best finds in progressive education. Our son has learned the critical skill of collaborative problem solving. He's also learned to welcome constructive feedback, and we've seen that carry over into sports and other areas of his life.

My son had the opportunity to practice social and self-management skills in a fun and motivating setting. He grew as a thinker and a leader. We saw these skills help him as he changed schools twice and is thriving.

My daughter has been attending Collab for over a year now, and every week she eagerly looks forward to Saturday, when she has her next session. For her, it’s a wonderful world of interaction and cooperation with children from all over the world. Together, they not only work on solving exciting quests, but also learn to interact with one another, to listen, to find compromises, and to come up with solutions as a team. It feels like a small-scale version of society, where children learn not to be competitors but, first and foremost, partners who help and support each other. Collab is run by people who are truly passionate about the project, who genuinely care about every child and strive to unlock their potential. They take the time to provide detailed reports on your child’s progress, set ambitious goals for future sessions, and create such engaging quests that when my daughter tells me about them, I get excited too and want to join her. Valuable and useful knowledge is woven into what may seem like a simple game process at first glance, but if you look deeper, you can see how much the children are actually doing — from inventing and using their own language to deciphering Egyptian hieroglyphs and many other amazing projects. I can see what an incredible experience Collab is for my daughter — the joy in her eyes, the excitement in her voice when she shares her emotions after a session, and how much she enjoys being part of this friendly and surprisingly “grown-up” community. The folks at CoLabs are magical with the kiddos. We have a 13 year old who enjoys working with others to solve puzzles and problem solve. They have such great prompts that are carefully crafted to build collaborate muscles. They also keep an eye out for individual growth opportunities, checking in monthly about things to celebrate as well as new elements to work on. Collaboration is such an important element in success for life. This program is a fun way for kids to develop this crucial tool.

My son has been attending CoLab for over two years. The traditional school environment wasn’t particularly fostering the skills I know will be vital once he enters the workforce. CoLab teaches true collaboration and critical thinking skills in such a fun way, I don’t think he realizes it’s educational! I’m so thankful for this group of intelligent, caring people who have come together to build and facilitate this unique learning opportunity.
