Charleston Boutique is nothing but a scam website. This company says on the website that if you are unsatisfied with the merchandise is easy return. That's not true. They will charge you 100-150 to return back to China. Never intended to refund you. I have never come across this before. Learn my lesson. I suggest to you if you are thinking about ordering from this scam company, think again.

Another warning about Charleston Boutique!
Me again with another warning about Charleston Boutique. This is not the same place as Boutique Charleston which has good reviews. Please look at all the other reviews on Charleston Boutique and not shop here to hopefully put them out of business and spare others from getting ripped off.

Celine was great
I ordered a dress which was my size but was ‘too snug’ for my taste. Celine gave me numerous options to choose from to satisfy me. Some were too difficult to deal with. I kept the dress to give to someone else and I choose a voucher to reorder another dress which I did today. I am praying this one arrives in a timely manner. Thanks again Celine for your being so supportive.

The quality was beyond poor
The quality was beyond poor. It did not look like advertised and is sized very small. They do not accept returns...in that if you want to return a thin small dress they want to charge you $22.00+ to return the $22 dress. When you call to return they will offer you a replacement for "free" or a 10% return. I told them I did not want the item because it does not fit and does not look like the item. So I had to throw it away. Sad. Dont waste your money.

Checking out, I was offered a lower discount. However, it was for the same item, which was unclear. I immediately tried to notify them of the mistake, and it was "too late" to stop the order. Now they are saying it will cost me more to return the duplicate item. Note that you cannot get in touch with them via phone, only email. Buyer beware.

This company is a sham. They do not provide a refund on the items you purchase if the items do not fit. They want to negotiate with you. They tell you to keep the item that does not fit and want you to order another item to replace it. Huh? What???

Just don't
Size chart not reliable, fabric is of very poor quality, color was not as pictured or noted. Several emails sent over past two weeks with no response. Vendor uses Charleston SC to market but has nothing to do with Charleston, they are China based. Oh and the deceptive discount when ordering caused me to purchase the dress twice in error. I have disputed the charge on my credit card.

What I love most about Charleston…
What I love most about Charleston Boutique is how it makes me feel special, like I’m shopping at a real boutique even though I’m sitting on my sofa, and their clothes feel elegant and age-appropriate without being frumpy, which is not easy to find for someone like me in her sixties, and my latest order came earlier than expected, wrapped so beautifully that I felt like I was opening a gift, and the fabric of the dress I bought is soft and breathable, and it drapes perfectly without hugging too tightly, and the emails I received were so well written and reassuring, and I’ve already told two of my friends that this is my new favourite store because it’s rare to find fashion that’s both stylish and comfortable for women my age.

Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience. The image of the dress was great, however the dress itself is of very poor quality and it does not seem to be made using apparel fabric. I am still trying to get resolution, and my position is that the “30 day money back guarantee” is useless. I was offered the opportunity to exchange for a different dress and pay shipping and handling. No thanks.

Hassle free returns is false advertising
Unfortunately I did not read all of the reviews which I should have. Celine did try to accommodate me in several ways however hassle free returns is definitely not true. They want to charge you an extreme amount of shipping or tell you to keep the item which does not fit and is useless. Anyway I’ve paid the extra fee needed to have a new dress shipped to me it was too small I tried to have them exchange it for a different size but they said that because it was a replacement from a previous order that they just hoped I would enjoy it as a gift for someone else. Now I’m out the price of the dress and shipping fees. I’m not happy they are not an American based company and I would not recommend doing business with them.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, BE AWARE! This "company" is a total scam! I wish I had done the usual checking I do no a company BEFORE ordering. Don't be like me and think you are ordering from a true Charleston Boutique! Order went smoothly, items came quickly. However, the quality is horrible, sizing suspect, and even though it says you can return in 30 days, keep reading! You have to return all items directly to CHINA, the return postage is equal to or possibly greater than what I paid for the items. To be fair, they did answer my email, and told me that they would be happy to give me a 100% store Credit and I keep the ill fitting - poorly made items, or....they would happily refund me 10% to "help" cover the shipping costs for return. I will be donating the items somewhere, in hopes that someone else might fit into them! DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM!!!!
