Enttäuschendes Camp mit schlechtem Preis Leistungs Verhältnis
Meine Tochter war vom 28.7.-1.8. auf einem Sprachcamp / Segelschiff ab Kiel und hat dort sehr schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht. Das Essen war sehr einseitig, es gab für die Kinder fast ausschließlich Aufbackbrötchen und auch die nicht in wirklich ausreichender Menge. Selbst wenn man stilles Wasser trinken wollte, musste man vorher fragen und wurde ansonsten ermahnt. Die in der Beschreibung genannten Leistungen - wie Freizeitbeschäftigungen, Willkommensgeschenk, etc. wurden nicht erfüllt. Aktionen auf Englisch (abgesehen von selbst initiierten Kartenspielen der Kinder) oder gar Vermitteln von Englisch fand praktisch überhaupt nicht statt. Die Campleitung hat sich nicht gekümmert sondern häufig an Deck separiert und den Eindruck vermittelt, dass die Kinder eigentlich stören. Meiner Tochter und andere Teilnehmer*innen wurde häufig wegen gefühlten Nichtigkeiten gedroht, das Schiff am nächsten Hafen verlassen zu müssen. Schade, an sich eine schöne Idee, eine Segelreise auf Englisch zu machen, meine Tochter hatte sich lange darauf gefreut. Aber die Umsetzung hat leider überhaupt nicht funktioniert.

Recomiendo las clases en línea
Recomiendo las clases en línea, son iguales que la presenciales, con profesores en vivo pero en línea y me gusta porque hablo todo el tiempo y somos poquitos en el grupo. Ya voy por mi segundo nivel así.

Horrendous experience from a once great company; not worth the hassle!
Loved my in-person experience with Berlitz in Miami in 2017-2019 (for French and Spanish). Had the total opposite experience with Berlitz virtual classes in Washington DC in 2025 (for Italian) and would no longer recommend the company. I dealt with multiple different employees to set up my lessons, which seemed extremely inefficient, rather than a single POC. Unbeknownst to me, but known to Bertitz, my first instructor had maternity leave planned just four lessons into my 8-lesson program. My second instructor rescheduled or canceled each of the following 4 lessons with no notice, finally quitting Berlitz altogether with no notice. My third instructor, for the 2 final lessons, was fantastic but was only teaching as a “favor” to the company and planned to emigrate as soon as my program ended. This was incredibly frustrating given I was trying to prepare for an exam and was self-funded. Elona Mene, my final POC with Berlitz displayed absolutely zero empathy and took no ownership of the situation, concluding her email to me with “I guess life happens.”

I found immersion very difficult for…
I found immersion very difficult for me. I have difficulty processing words. I’ve had more success with Pimsleur since they use English earlier on and add more and more Russian as time passes. I had one very bad experience with one of the instructions who was rather insensitive to my struggles. I also found the materials to be very outdated.

As a former teacher of Berlitz online courses I can say that the treatment of teachers is akin to slavery. The wages pathetic and the courses are repetitive and uninspiring. The teachers who stay are the ones that can't find anything better.

Pésimo curso.
Decidí hacer dos cursos para por lo menos ver el avance que tendría, al no tener teoría te vas atrasando y los profesores solo quieren que repitas lo que dicen, 8 meses pase tirados a la basura, continuó en un nivel básico sin sentir yo un avance. Al inicio también se acordó una fecha de inicio y termino iniciando 15 días después.

Cargos indebido en Berlitz México
Soy Laura Parra nuevamente poniendo otra queja de Berlitz México. El día de hoy me hicieron un cargo indebido por MXN11,278 a mi tarjeta de crédito. Están cobrando el siguiente nivel 7 cuando aun el nivel 6 tiene fecha de terminación en Julio. Mande un correo a soporte pidiendo una explicación y solo recibo su caso ha sido levantado con el número 01312404. Derivado de todos los problemas para tomar el curso estoy considerando continuar si es necesario levantar queja en Profeco o instancias pertinentes lo haré.

Terrible experience
Terrible experience. The Berlitz Flex is a complete scam plattform. Boring and business oriented, they never explained that when they offer you. Duolingo is cheaper and better. So, you can imagine. I switched to online course and 70% of my lessons until now were cancelled. And when i try to explain them they answer me as they dont undertand what im talking about. I will describe this as a super expensive Scam school.

Leider stimmt das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Die Schule ist nicht mehr Zeitgerecht und die Unterrichtsmethoden sind etwas angestaubt. Dazu kommt noch fehlende flexibilität. Alles in allen kann ich die Schule nicht Weiterempfehlen.

2 weeks late on delivering the necessary text books with little to no communication, instructors missing lessons, swapping instructors mid-course, lesson quality being dependent on instructor you get, not communicating when lessons are rescheduled.

Un management catastrophique.
Un management catastrophique. Une expérience d'1 an chez Berlitz Nantes aujourd'hui franchisé. Le turn over fait parti du business de l'entreprise. Aucune évolution professionnelle possible, aucune culture d'entreprise, aucune communication et fédération d'équipe. En revanche, pour un management toxique, oppressant et changeant au rythme des émotions et sauts d'humeur de la manageuse vous êtes au bon endroit !

No hay continuidad en los cursos
En Berlitz Colombia Las clases no son malas pero el servicio al cliente es pésimo para el pago te escriben constantemente pero una vez pagas tienes que adaptarte al curso que te ofrecen porque o sino te dejan esperando hasta 3 meses para empezar uno nuevo con la excusa de que no hay más estudiantes en el horario que firmaste la matrícula así tenga fecha de inicio dos meses atrás. La continuidad es perversa si tus compañeros no continuan. Estamos a diciembre con pago del año entrante y me ofrecen inicio en marzo es el colmo porque pierdo toda la continuidad.

Hola… alguien podría darme Un correo o contacto con quien escalar un tema con Berlitz LATAM? Nadie me contesta mis correos. Nadie me da solución y quiero darme de baja justamente por este mal servicio. Lamentablemente quieren penalizarme por falta de incumpliento y satisfacción de mi parte porque no se hacen responsables de su falta de compromiso y profesionalismo de su parte. Es una pena que Berlitz haya caído tan bajo y solo se dediquen a cobrar y sacar lana. Llevo casi 3 semanas intentando que me den respuesta y nadie da la cara. Si alguien d e apiada de esta alma, por favor de contactarme Tengo las evidencias de los mil correos y msjs por Facebook que he enviado y por mas que reenvío y reenvío, nadie me atienda.

Englisch einzeln Unterricht
Meine Tochter hatte einzeln Englisch Onlineunterricht. Die Lehrerin hat nur englisch mit ihr gesprochen. So musste meine Tochter die Lehrerin verstehen, was sie sehr weit in Englisch gebracht hatte. Jetzt haben wir ein neuen Kurs gebucht. Die Lehrerin war sehr nett und pünktlich. Die Schule hat sich unsere Zeit Umänderungen immer berücksichtigt. Ich kann die Schule auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen :-)

Scam jobs or unpaid long hours and ridiculous directions
The employees aren't reliable and honest, like their kindness and appearance. They sent me a job offer via a worker called Maryna one month ago. She told me that trials would be paid regardless of student attendance and satisfaction. Then I accepted the offer. She didn't send me either a contract or student request for a month but wasted time with procedures and didn't pay for it. Anyway. After a month, another employee appeared called Gokmen and Sinem Tutuncu, and they said different things than Maryna offered. They adjusted unpaid and long meetings again for unimportant details, and like a scam job, they weren't informed about each other. They only say we're a well-established company, but the procedure proceeded like a scam job with unqualified and perverted team members, unpaid long hours without apologies, and ridiculous directions. I never work with Berlitz. I recommend the CEO book a trial for himself from Berlitz. I am really disappointed in trusting their company name.
