Ordered Topping PA7 plus
Ordered Topping PA7 plus. Direct ship from China, but arrived in 5 days! Well packaged. After reading all the negative reviews, I was concerned, but all is well.

Apos receives overwhelmingly negative feedback from consumers, with many reporting issues related to defective products and poor customer service. While a couple of reviewers praise the fast shipping and good packaging of their orders, the majority express frustration over receiving faulty items, such as defective DACs and amplifiers, often within weeks of purchase. Customers frequently mention the lack of effective communication, with many unable to reach a live representative for support. Complaints about being charged for replacements and slow response times further exacerbate the dissatisfaction. Overall, while there are isolated positive experiences, the prevailing sentiment is one of disappointment and distrust, leading many to advise potential buyers to avoid Apos altogether.

Bought a Moondrop Dark Saber that broke within 5 days due to an extremely tight 2 pin connector and a weak, hollow plastic shell. Was told this isn't considered a defect and would have to pay more than 50% of the cost of of the product to replace less than 50% of the product.

Avoid at all cost. Sent two Topping LA90 amps. Both defective after just a few weeks. Its been six months now and still no replacement. APOS has no legit phone number that will contact a person. Auto generated email reply once a week. Basically two defective products. Out $1600. Look up address APOS is run out of an apartment. Not legit business.

Abandoned by company. This started when I ordered a Topping Pa5 from them in December 2021. It took several weeks to ship out from them- understandable since it was a new product being freighted from China, but it was not mentioned. Ship-by date was not met. Product arrives fine, but breaks several months later. Sent back for warranty and replaced for price of shipping. Several months later in late October, it breaks again. Same amount of time, and breaks in the same way. Looking online at forums, this issue is not isolated. The product in question (Topping Pa5) is defective. The product is sent back in again... nothing for three weeks. They get back after I reach out to them, and provide an invoice to pay for shipping again. I receive a coupon for the product, and then I find out it's "out of stock." It was never restocked. Get spammed multiple times per hour by an Apos bot telling me to purchase now or lose my coupon, and eventually get back into contact with apos support a week later. They offer a blue unit, or several months of waiting for a black one. I choose to wait. Over a month later, they contact me again saying that Black will not be available... because the product was discontinued. They offer blue again. I decline and ask for a refund. They take over three weeks and a reminder email to get back to me. They offer 85% back, only in store credit. I ask for 85% back in cash, or 100% in store credit at the minimum. As of writing, this is week 5 of waiting for a response.
Topping DAC died after ~6 months. Got an RMA from Apos.audio and when they received it, said I’d destroyed the device by updating firmware. I never did anything of the sort. They said I should take it up with Topping. Topping’s support email address doesn’t receive emails. Guess who has a REALLY expensive paperweight?
I was sent a defective product and after numerous attempts to get an RMA, I still haven't heard anything.
Sketchy communication. No way to speak to a live person by telephone. Only chat/email. Raises questions. If you do purchase back it up by using Amazon pay. Glad my item is not in need of warranty support otherwise a royal headache would likely await.
Apos is amazing. I went in there not sure about what to get. they helped me with objective suggestions and made me feel comfortable about my purchase. Shipping was fast and I ending up loving their suggested product.
I should have check the reviews before placing the order. This company is 100% scam. They offered and charged for a express shipping and then they use regular usps to deliver the stuff. It will take weeks to get the delivery. As other mentioned, the customer support doesn't exist. They response after 48hs with a default response "we are looking at your case". Avoid this company and make your purchase in a different place like headphones.com
They take forever to respond to your messages/inquiries and have had an item held up in China for about 2 weeks. Yes, they ship their items from China. Make sure you do your best to try and avoid this company.
Bad experience. Slow communication, and often no response. I was billed for both ways of shipping for the return of the product failed in 10 days. Prices are not competitive. Go shop at Amazon or Ebay. What good is the 45 days return policy if you don't get response days and asked to pay shipping both ways. Wait to see what customer support means when the product fails or want to return the item fo any reason. Not happy at all. Late justice is not a justice.
