3rd visit and purchase. Always amazing!

This was our third visit and third car seat purchase with Marta, and once again, she was absolutely fantastic. She has helped us find the perfect rear-facing seats for both of our cars, as well as one for Grandma’s. Marta’s knowledge is phenomenal — she takes the time to explain everything in detail, from how to install the seat correctly to how to strap in our little one safely and adjust things as they grow. Her patience and expertise make the whole process feel so much less overwhelming. The customer service is consistently outstanding, and we always leave feeling confident that our child is safe and secure. Rear-facing all the way! we wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Third great experience

We have just bought our third car seat from Marta and have done so following our previous experiences. We first purchased from Marta when she was working as a car seat specialist at mothercare. She was the first person to explain to us about the importance of rear facing while I was pregnant. And we’re so glad she did! We purchased our first seat there. Following Mothercare’s closure I looked for retailers for rear facing when we were ready for our next car seat and we found all about car seats. Little did we know that we would meet Marta again! We spent time fitting and trying out a besafe stretch and axkid. She took care to explain the benefits and safety features of each. Showing us how they fit etc. we came away with the besafe stretch. She was also brilliant with our child. Marta answered all our questions and helped us understand exactly what we were buying. The seat has been brilliant. However - the first time we took it out (actually a valet person who shouldn’t have touched it took it out) it took be a while to get it back it (it’s not that complicated but I hadn’t done it and hadn’t been expecting to have to fit it). Thankfully it wasn’t far from Marta so I put it in and she was happy to see me and check the fit. I had actually fitted it correctly, but Marta gave me all the reassurance I needed to know it was fitted correctly and gave me some additional fitting tips! Maybe a year on there was a clicker on the seat that stopped clicking - knowing we had the extended guarentee we got in touch to get it check out and we got everything sorted with Marta liaising with the manufacturer. We have just purchased a forward facing booster now that our child has reached the size capacity of the besafe. Marta asked the kind of thing we were looking for before we arrived to make sure we had what we were after. Again she was able to advise on the best seat for our situation and explained why. She spend well over an hour with us ensuring all our questions were answered and to ensure we fully understood the seat. Additionally we purchased a footrest which is great. Thank you Marta, your advice has made us feel confident with every seat we have chosen and we are so thankful for your advice!

Great service and advice

Marta is an excellent guide on in-car safety for children. She provided great options on available seats for our budget and car. She also helped us use our infant car seat better. All her advice on car seat fixing, placement and also using right type of clothing especially winter has been very useful. The car seat in itself (Axkid minikid 2) is very good, very comfortable for my child and should last him a good few years.

Marta is lovely and fitted my little one in an Axkid Movekid. I messaged her in the morning and was able to have the seat fitted on the same day. Absolutely fantastic and I’m so grateful. Thank you for fitting the seat and fitting me in so quickly. Highly recommend that people buy from Marta. Fantastic customer service!

Fantastic service - highly recommend

Marta was so knowledgeable and helpful. She fitted us in to see her at very short notice and was incredibly generous with her time. She also wasn't at all phased by one of our children having an almighty meltdown while we were with her and was very understanding and empathetic. We ended up going for something completely different to what we had in mind as it will enables two of our children to rear face for longer. I hadn't been aware of this option and am very grateful to Marta for taking the time to explain (without putting any pressure on us to go for it). She is extremely knowedgable, patient and passionate about car safety and I can't recommend her business highly enough. We travelled for an hour to get to her and it was well worth the trip. Thank you again so much Marta!

Exceptional service, knowledge and professionalism

Marta provides an exceptional level of service. She is a true expert in her field and demonstrates outstanding knowledge and a passion for child car safety. As a Registered Childminder, my requirements for child seats are slightly different as I need a degree of flexibility with the seats. Marta took lots of time, both at my initial consultation with her and then when she came to my home to install the seats, to explain my options and how to install and use the seats safely. I felt fully confident that her advice was the best available. She patiently answered all my questions and took time to resolve a technical query about my car with AXKids before confirming which seats would fit best. I highly recommend Marta and All About Car Seats to anyone who wants to be sure they are getting the best car seats for their requirements. I never once felt pressured into buying. It was a pleasure to deal with Marta and I will certainly contact her again if/when I need further car seats.

Highly recommended!!

Highly recommended!!! A true specialist about car seats, Marta helped us make the best and safest choice for our wants and needs! If you know about Swedish plus test then you know she is selling some of the safest and highest rated seats in European continent (if you don’t check it out)! She spent enormous amounts of time with us, installed our car seat, informed us about all things considering safety in the car and even gave me some tips on pushchairs. Can’t fault this knowledgeable friendly amazing woman! So glad I didn’t give my custom to big faceless companies but to a small family business!!! ❤️

Replacing seat due to crash

So unfortunately I was in a car crash with my son who was in an axkid move that i had previously purchased from all about carseats. The seat kept him safe so when replacing it was obvious that I was going to use again to get a new seat. After looking online at what she had available I decided to upgrade from the move to the minikid 2. Within 2 hours of contacting she was happy to come to my home and fit the seat in our other car. The seat is amazing and I'm so happy with the replacement even though it was due to a crash but at the end of the day the seat was a saving grace so there was no way I was going to get anything less than amazing again.

Excellent professional and friendly service

We went to All About Car Seats to get our first ERF seat for our 19 month old. Marta was incredibly knowledgable, friendly and professional, and was very generous with her time with demonstrating how to fit the car seat and the different options available - despite the pouring rain! We got the Minikid 4 and it is brilliant. We would definitely go to All About Car Seats again. Thank you!

Really knowledgeable and excellent service.

Initially I was looking to replace two old seats which I would be able to switch between my car and grandparents car. We had an initial appointment in my parents car to look for an ERF seat. Marta was very knowledgable and I didn’t feel any pressure to buy. She also advised on how to change the other seat they had from a group 2 to 3. She suggested we come back with my car also to see how the ERF seat would fit and look for a new HBB as the one I had was unsuitable. Marta set up the seats to show how they would fit and how my boys would fit in them. After purchasing a Britax Safeway and Britax Kidfix Isize she installed both and checked for fit, and then installed my old Joie 360 spin which is still viable into my parents car and checked for fit (which I had got totally wrong). I will be returning to Marta when I need a new seat.

100% excellence and safety! :)

We visited Marta at All About Car Seats in Pudsey today. I was so so impressed with her car seat safety knowledge, help and advice. We needed 3 seats; 2 for our almost 6 year old who has sadly now outgrown the rear facing seats, and one for new baby arriving soon. Marta was so helpful over Facebook messenger initially and then again in person. Even advising me where to buy pram adapter clips etc which she doesn’t sell and what I needed for the seat we were buying. I was worried about turning our daughter forward facing (she is tall for her age) but she explained all the safety advice and options available for high backed boosters so we could make an informed decision. Fully showed us how to fit and adjust the seats in the car and did this for us. I honestly couldn’t recommend her more highly and would 100% use her again, especially having previously had very poor advice from many shops unfortunately, who only care about sales and have absolutely no knowledge or concern about car seat safety which is so vitally important for the sake of your most precious cargo! If you want your child to be safe, go see Marta!

Professional and experienced retailer. With informative and helpful car seat advice. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Marta is so knowledgeable and able to help you make a fully informed choice about the best car seat for you. When we originally went to see her we were on our way to Skegness but the car seat we'd set our hearts on wouldn't fit in our car due to a stupid cosmetic design on our rear car seats. Marta tried every way to get the seat belts to work for us but in the end it wasn't going to happen. We expressed that we were concerned we'd left it a bit late to get a new car seat as our baby's head was nearly at the top of his carrier. Marta took one look at our carrier and pulled a wedge out that we didn't even know was there!! He wasn't over the weight limit and suddenly Marta has bought us another inch of head space which meant we were able to wait for the Britax Max Safe Plus to be released. We went to see Marta today and tried out the Max Safe Plus and other car seat to compare. As last time she fitted everything into our car and explained how she was doing it all. She then adjusted the seat to show it at 'maximum size' to make sure we would all still fit comfortably in the car before adjusting it for our baby and fitting him into the seat. She encouraged us to take photos for comparison but I had set my heart on the britax being the one for us. We wanted to take away today, otherwise Marta would have ordered in for us from the full selection of colours but she had 3 different colours in stock with her so we didn't feel it was necessary. Absolutely proud as punch and feel we can get in touch if we ever need advice with our car seat in the future. Hopefully I'll be getting a similar model for my Mum in the near future and won't go to anyone else now.

Brilliant company and customer service. Marta is highly knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to help ensure the correct fit for you, your baby and your car. I feel so reassured that my little one has one of the safest car seats on the market and even happier that Marta herself fitted it for us. Amazing company and service

Myself and my family have purchased 4 car seats in total from Marta at All About Car Seats and the service received is absolutely invaluable. Safety of my child is my absolute priority and when it comes to car seat safety, only the best will do. Marta is extremely knowledge about all things car seat safety and takes the time to ensure the car seats are fitted correctly and safely before allowing you to drive away. Not only that, the ongoing service is brilliant. I have lost count of the number of times that I have been to see Marta to refit my seat after its been removed for cleaning or when I have changed cars. Amazing company, thank you.

Highly recommended!

We bought an ERF car seat from Marta last year for our son. She was incredibly thorough and spent lots of time trying different seats in different positions in our car to make sure we made the best choice for our family. We’ve been really happy with the seat but I was unsure about removing inserts etc now my son is a year older so we recently returned for a fit check. Again Marta spent time working out the best fit and ensuring I understood what to do to maximise the seat use going forwards as our little one continues to grow. She has also provided email support to my queries and hunted down spare inserts from the retailer after my husband misplaced ours. As a paediatric nurse with extensive experience in A&E and ICU I have looked after many children who have suffered injuries in road traffic accidents. Car seat safety is so important and unfortunately in this country the large high street retailers are not well-informed about the safest, most highly-tested options as UK legislation is not as robust as in other areas of Europe. I cannot recommend this small business enough. Marta is a professional with a wealth of valuable knowledge and really cares about the families she works with.

Absolutely fantastic service

Absolutely fantastic service from Marta. We were in need of a new infant carrier ready for the arrival of our twins, as well as wanting to look at options for extended rear facing seats for our 3yo and for the future. Marta showed us the different options of infant carriers and clearly explained what we were looking for to ensure a safe and secure fit for the babies. She then took the time to test out lots of different seats in different positions in both of our cars to check what would and wouldn't fit along side our current seats. She also kindly installed a new ERF seat into our car (which we had brought with us) and checked that our 3yo had a good fit. We are very happy with the knowledge and patience that Marta showed. We were able to choose a new infant carrier based on her excellent advice and we are confident in this purchase. We will not hesitate to come back to her again the next time we need a new seat.

Fantastic initial and follow up service!

I recently bought 2 x Axkid Minikid 2s, one for my car and one for my partners. Unfortunately, when I was moving one car seat, I broke the styrofoam to the right of the seat and it needed replacing not long after purchasing. I contacted Marta who was more than happy to help. She took the product details and contacted Axkid on my behalf, with a replacement part delivered directly to my address. She even offered to fit this for us at her own home, great service! The car seat is now fully functional again and my child perfectly safe, thanks to Marta. Not sure if the negative review on here is talking about the same company, take a look on All About Car Seats on Facebook where we found them with fantastic reviews and 5k followers. Highly recommended, with fantastic initial fitting, loads of seats to choose from and great follow up service!

Excellent service

Excellent, very professional help and advice. Even though I have a very difficult toddler, Marta managed to calmly and effectively adjust four different car seats in our car, only to choose the one that fitted the best. I can't thank her enough for the amount of patience, knowledge and passion she has when it comes to the car safety of the little ones. My child is now safe and very comfortable in her new car seat. I will be definitely coming back when the time comes.

Sold an unsuitable and unsafe car seat

We were sold a very expensive extended rear facing car seat by this company which has a known fault and was totally unsuitable for our child. I expressed concern about the fit for my child at the time of fitting but was assured that this would not be a problem and was because my car was parked on a slope. As soon as the car seat was used (once) the extent of the issue became apparent and I contacted the retailer immediately for a resolution. The company refused to offer a refund or exchange. They claimed that the manufacturer was responsible for providing a refund despite them selling us the item. We were left with absolutely no protection as a consumer by them or the manufacturer. Even more concerning, the retailer insisted during all communication that the car seat was safe to use despite it forcing my child’s head into an unnatural and uncomfortable position. We have now had to replace the seat as our child could not use the one we were sold. I would not use this company again or recommend them as a trusted provider of extended rear facing car seats.
