Horrible service. 9:20 am flight from chain to Athens was delayed for no reason and baggage did not connect to Santorini. I was told baggage would be delivered by 2-3 pm but not delivered until 7pm. Phone support service offered no help or additional information. I did not get any email updates to let me know what was going on

Netter pünktlicher Flug mit super Team

Wir sind ab Friedrichshafen mit Aegean das erste Mal geflogen. Es waren beides Mal gute Flüge mit sehr nettem aufmerksamen Team. Economy bietet wie immer nicht viel Beinfreiheit, aber es ist ja überall so. Der Abzug von einem Stern kommt daher, da man leider weder beim Hin- noch beim Rückflug online einchecken konnte. Das wäre für uns sehr hilfreich gewesen.

Wir sind heute das erste Mal mit Aegean Airlines geflogen. Die tolle Beinfreiheit, der Gratis Kaffee und das belegte Brötchen haben die Reise komplett gemacht. Eine Fluggesellschaft. Diese ist wirklich toll.

Unmenschlichen Bedienungen

Der Flug am 24.7. wurde storniert, musste einen neuen buchen, die Rückerstattung für den ersten Flug verlief problemlos. Der zweite Flug war am 22.7., wir sollten um 18:00 Uhr fliegen, hatten aber 45 Minuten Verspätung. Ich war besorgt, meinen Anschlussflug nicht zu erreichen, nicht ahnend, dass der nächste Flug ebenfalls eine geplante Verspätung von anderthalb Stunden hatte, aus Gründen, die nicht einmal das Personal kannte. Nach drei Stunden Wartezeit auf den Flug bekamen wir eine Nachricht auf unsere Handys, dass der Flug storniert wurde, das Personal stand ratlos da. Wir warteten zwei Stunden, um unser Gepäck zu bekommen und in ein Hotel gebracht zu werden, das sie für uns gebucht hatten, 45 Minuten Fahrt mitten in der Nacht, wo kein Zimmerservice für Essen, wie versprochen verfügbar war. Bemerkenswert ist, dass uns von Aegean immer noch kein Essen oder Getränke angeboten wurden. Wir kamen um 1 Uhr morgens im Hotel an und mussten um 4 Uhr morgens schon wieder wach sein, um den neuen Flug um 6:15 Uhr zu nehmen. Konnten weder schlafen, essen noch trinken. Als wir am Flughafen ankamen, hatte auch dieser Flug eine weitere Verspätung bis 7:30 Uhr. Das ist eine verdammte Clownshow. Ihr wisst im Voraus, dass ihr einen Zeitplan habt, Flugzeuge, Personal und alle nötigen Informationen, warum könnt ihr nicht einmal pünktlich sein? Ich schwöre, ich werde ihre Aktien auf null shorten. Nie wieder mit Aegean.

Versteht keiner diese Gepäckpolicy

Diese Airline schafft es seit Jahren nicht durchgehenden Gepäcktransport bei Umsteigeflügen (z.B. Zürich - Athen - Naxos) sicherzustellen. Bedeutete, jeder darf sein Gepäck in Athen abholen und erneut einchecken. Geile Sache 👍

Sans bagage durant 6 jours - sans solution

 Il est difficile de concilier une récente distinction avec la réalité de mon expérience. Premier voyage en Grèce, premier vol avec votre compagnie… et privé de mes bagages pendant six jours sur sept. Ma valise m’a été restituée le vendredi à 14h, alors que je repartais le lendemain à 4h du matin. Malgré plusieurs tentatives de contact et l’envoi de tous les justificatifs pour des achats essentiels, je n’ai reçu aucune réponse concrète — pas même une reconnaissance du préjudice moral. Et je ne peux même pas espérer le remboursement des frais de bagage en soute pour un service qui, objectivement, n’a pas été rendu. En tant que professionnel de la communication, je ne peux que constater l’écart saisissant entre la promesse de marque et l’expérience réellement vécue.

Pet carrier mislead

They denied to travel with my pet because of the traveling bag that I carried for it. They said that the protocol changed and they forced me to buy new one from the airport witch was the same thing. If asked I can provide photographic proof. They refuse refund for their mistake and they trying to mess with my intelligence. Disappointed.

Had flight from Larnaca to Copenhagen via Athens, one luggage lost and second heavily damaged. No assistance, no apology, no information. They do not care at all that one week in cruise without clothes. Inside of luggage worth 3000 €. Already 4 days, we have no information. To say that our holidays are ruined, to say nothing. Very disappointed.

Disgraceful customer service

The flights were fine, but I was extremely disappointed and frustrated with the customer service staff at Aegean Airlines. Firstly, the staff member clearly wasn’t reading my emails, as they kept calling me ‘Mr’, when I continually signed my emails as ‘Miss’, and they only corrected themselves when I called them out on it. Over the course of one week, I flew two flights Aegean. And from those two flights, I lost three expensive locks from my checked in baggage. When I reported this to the customer service staff online, I did not ask for reimbursement, I just wanted an explanation as to how this could have happened. At this stage I had been travelling around Europe for 5 weeks with many different airlines, and not once did I lose a single lock. Then, I flew with Aegean twice and lost three locks?? Seemed pretty suss, especially considering there was no physical damage to my bag as a result. The locks were also very expensive, strong locks that I have also used on other overseas trips, and not once did one get broken off or lost. The customer service team were completely useless, and I am still disgusted by their responses, or lack there of. No matter what I said, especially when simply asking how this could have occurred, and how could I know for sure that a staff member/unauthorised person hadn’t broken into my bag (considering there was no damage to the bag to indicate they were broken off by accident), the customer service representative continually stated the same thing over and over again, speaking as a robot. This was their response every time: ‘Based on our previous communication, we assume no liability for specific types of damage, including broken/missing lockers. Therefore, we count on your understanding that we are not able to respond favorably to your request’. The only other statement they provided was: ‘your baggages when you travel are absolutely safe with our colleagues’. Even thought they could/would not confirm how the bags are supposedly safe when the locks that are meant to protect the bags and it’s contents were removed? I was not asking for compensation (despite them being expensive locks), I just wanted to know what happened, and got nothing back. There is no way it is just a coincidence that I lost three locks with their airline; one lock lost I would understand, but not three. Clearly something dodgy has happened and there has been a security breach, and the airline are refusing to say or do anything. It is completely unacceptable.

I submitted a refund request form and waited over 3 weeks — no response at all. I had to buy a last-minute replacement ticket at twice the price. Terrible customer service: no replies to emails, no transparency, and no accountability. I will not be flying with Aegean again.
