A Memorable and Well-Organized First Guided Tour – India Golden Triangle and Ranthambore
My husband and I recently embarked on our first guided tour, choosing Titan’s India Golden Triangle, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. While we were initially concerned due to the lack of detailed pre-holiday information—especially since we had booked five months in advance—our worries quickly faded once the trip began. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted at the airport by our guide, Kunal, and introduced to our driver, Ashok, and helper, Depak. Their professionalism and attentiveness set the tone for the rest of the journey. The tour itself was exceptionally well-planned, with a full itinerary that ensured we didn’t miss any key sights while still allowing for some flexibility. Our group of 33 included a mix of first-time travellers like us and seasoned tour-goers. Kunal was an outstanding guide—knowledgeable, patient, and unflappable, even when dealing with travellers who were unwell, had limited mobility, or frequently misplaced belongings! His calm and capable manner reassured us throughout the trip. The hotels we stayed in varied in style, but all were well-organized and comfortable. The itinerary was full but well-paced, making the most of our time without feeling overwhelming. Most importantly, we always felt safe, supported, and well-cared for, which made a huge difference on our first guided tour. Any niggles we had were very minor – lack of butter for breakfast at one of the hotel’s and a wobbly plug socket! Overall, this was a wonderful introduction to guided travel, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with Titan again. Their VIP pick-up service deserves a special mention. If you’re considering the India Golden Triangle tour, be prepared for an immersive, well-managed experience that leaves you with lasting memories!
