Reported to UK TRADING STANDARDS & Several Consumer UK consumer sites. I feel completely misled by Mobile Unlocked. I paid £19 upfront to unlock my sister’s Vodafone Ireland iPhone — only to receive an email the next day saying I now need to pay another £57 to “complete” the unlock. At no point during the initial payment process was this second charge made clear. This kind of pricing model is deliberately vague and borders on dishonest. If the total cost is going to be £76, that should be stated clearly and upfront — not buried in the small print or sprung on you after you’ve already paid. They make it sound like the phone is unlocked — then withhold the actual unlock unless you cough up more cash. This is not how legitimate companies operate. It feels like a bait-and-switch. Avoid this service if you don’t want to be tricked into paying more than you expected. I’ve since gone directly to Vodafone and found a far more transparent process.
