Our surprise birthday gift was not delivered on the day promised, even though we had ordered over two weeks before the required delivery date. Their website says "Hazelton's delivers gift baskets 7 days a week, ensuring your gift basket arrives when it needs to - even if it’s Saturday or Sunday". The invoice states that “We deliver on the date you picked! Delivery to businesses by 5 pm and residences by 8 pm.” We called customer service and were left on hold for over half an hour. We then left a callback number but our call was never returned. We then sent an e-mail and received a generic reply that “The expected turnaround time for responses is typically 24-48 business hours”. I don’t know what a “business hour” is and therefore have no idea what that is. The response three days after the delivery was due was that they were "unable" to cancel the order. TIP: Don't wait for them to cancel and give a refund. Contact your credit card provider and dispute their charge. VISA gave us a refund immediately and will debit Hazeltons' account.
