Absolutely appalling property management – avoid at all costs Newton Property Management has been nothing short of a disgrace. Despite repeated and urgent complaints about severe water ingress, mold, and now fungus growing inside the communal hallway, they have consistently failed to take meaningful or timely action. The building is deteriorating to the point of being uninhabitable, with a persistent stench of damp, unsafe living conditions, and visible structural damage. Communication is poor to non-existent, and when responses are given, they’re full of vague deflections and legal disclaimers. Newton hides behind technicalities to avoid taking responsibility, despite acting as the appointed factor. Tenants and owners are left in limbo while they stall behind the excuse of a "survey in progress" that has dragged on endlessly without any concrete dates or interim solutions. I've personally spent over £10,000 fixing repeated water damage in my flat, only to see the same issues return due to their complete failure to address the root cause – the external condition of the building. Temporary mitigation has been outright dismissed. Insurance hasn’t been activated. And they even suggest that residents should find alternative housing rather than solving the problem they’ve been entrusted to manage. In short, Newton Property Management does not care about resident welfare, building condition, or basic accountability. If you’re considering hiring them or buying a property under their management – don’t. You’ll be on your own when things go wrong.
