AVOID PSA FINANCE AT ALL COSTS *******
Appalling standard of service when returning PCP car. Misleading and incorrect advice, rude staff, failed to arrange collection of car from my home, stated that I would need to pay any negative equity charges and in a second phone call that these charges do not apply, letter sent stating zero damage charges and told on phone to pay damage charges or they would call bailiffs even though damage charges stated as nil on letter, second letter sent with increased damage charges making no reference to the first letter, no apology and nothing to state that the first letter is incorrect, attempting to charge for damage that was present at time of manufacture/vehicle delivery. Upon receipt of my detailed complaint letter, PSA have responded with a letter stating that I should pay the bill in full then they may refund some/all of it when they have reviewed the case. However the amount they are asking for is unclear (2 letters with different amounts), the complaint is about the charges made, plus given my experience with PSA (and the experiences of others) I do not trust PSA to refund any monies. The letter is also misleading with wording suggesting that non-payment MAY be a breach of contract. This is purposely intended to bully customers into payment after making a complaint, and the wording is purposely misleading (do they believe it is a breach of contract or not?). Also no deadline date has been provided for payment. Nasty company, and the aggressive deceitful way they deal with customers is entirely deliberate in order to bully customers into making incorrect and excessive payments. ****** AVOID AT ALL COSTS! REMEMBER PSA FINANCE INCLUDES CITROEN, PEUGEOT AND NOW VAUXHALL.******** My case has also been submitted to Watchdog, as it is clear that MANY customers are treated very badly by PSA finance. This needs exposing.
