Have been with Bord Gais for a year
Have been with Bord Gais for a year, got a better deal with SSE so signed up with them; Bord Gais (BG) got in touch with a deal that matched SSE so I decided to stay with BG. BG advised to cancel SSE contract & call them back within 10 days to avail of their better offer. I did this but BG couldn’t sign me up as they had more work to do cancelling the gas side of things With SSE. It was outside the 10 days offer when BG finally sorted out the gas. And I wasn’t offered the deal I was offered initially by BG despite calling them 6 times to try get it sorted. I found BG customer service terrible. When I got through eventually to speak to someone they either could not deal with my query as they hadn’t the knowledge or their system was down. I’m switching to someone else now and I found better value since elsewhere.
