A Frustrating and Unbelievable Experience
I recently had a highly frustrating experience with VOXI that has left me deeply dissatisfied. Here’s what happened: On July 24th, I decided to transfer my number from VOXI to another mobile carrier. On the same day, I received a notification from my bank that VOXI had charged £15 to my account. Confused and concerned, I immediately contacted VOXI’s customer service via their website. Initially, I was pleased with the prompt response from the customer service representative. They quickly acknowledged the error and confirmed that I would receive a refund of £14.25. When I questioned why I wasn’t receiving the full amount, the representative informed me that VOXI charges a 5% administration fee for refunds. I was shocked to hear this, especially since the charge was VOXI’s mistake, not mine. The representative showed me the terms and conditions where this fee is mentioned, but this only added to my frustration. It’s one thing to charge an administration fee under normal circumstances, but to do so when the error was on VOXI’s part is simply unacceptable. This experience has left me extremely disappointed with VOXI. The policy of charging an administration fee for a refund, especially when the fault lies with the company, is unfair and feels like a slap in the face to customers. I hope VOXI revisits this policy and ensures that such mistakes are handled more fairly in the future. As for me, I will be very cautious about recommending VOXI to others based on this experience.
