Cartridge filter failed miserably

Bought a whole house cartridge filter. Worked for no more than 3 month, then went back to awful water again. Customer service appalling. Advised them the cartridge had failed. They were not interested in the fact that it was my outlay expense of hiring a plumber to make new copper pipe work in order to fit the cartridge, so therefore it’s not just the cost of purchase of product that leaves me out of pocket. Neither were they interested in paying for a plumber to fit a second filter. Given that the first one failed, I had no confidence in the second one being successful. Because they did not want to pay for a the fitting I would have been further out of pocket if that failed too. It wasn’t worth risking losing more money. It’s all ok if it works. But the true test of a business is how they deal with you when their product fails. They were not interested. I didn’t want to be constantly chasing them and getting into a dispute so I just walked away. That was almost 2 years ago, all of a sudden they have started sending me marketing emails. So I decided to write this review.
