Started a contract for our European holiday, data didn't work as we arrived in France leaving us stranded while trying to navigate. Ended up paying EE roaming charges instead. Logging in to the app and website was painful. Terrible buggy UI. No way to cancel on the website. Had to call up to cancel since no one got back to my emails in over a week. Managed to cancel over the phone (within the 14 day cooling off period) but was told I'd still be charged pro-rata for the time used (despite emailing to cancel right away). The lady on the phone said she saw some megabytes used, but I don't know how as mobile data never worked for me. Feel a bit scammed. So I'm charged 50% of a month I didn't use, that didn't work in the first place. Terrible provdier. Never using again. Edit: In reply to Lyca's response. Yes it worked when I tested it in the UK the day before I left, then never worked in EU.
