I had a new meter fitted in 2021. In 2022 I wrote the SO energy to say that my DD was too low. They said they would look into it. They have not done a physical read in over 3 years. I have provided regularly meter readings. I have written to them 28 times. Last year they apologised again and said someone in head of billing would investigate. This was not done. They have now sent me a bill over £15,000 for historical use over 3 years! They continue to ignore me and have now set my DD at £2500 pcm without discussing with me. In order for them to sort this out I cancelled my DD. They wrote saying I would get a bad reference. I tried to reset a New DD but it will only allow me to set it at £2500. They continental to ignore my mails and the whole episode is appalling and stressful. DO NOT USE SO ENERGY New update: So energy contacted me because of this review. They said they would look into it as a matter of urgency. 4 weeks later still waiting and no resolution. The joke continues. I have submitted two new readings. They have ignored these and sent yet again another bill based on wrong meter reads. This bill is for £22,000!
