This is a letter I wrote the manager and didn't even get a response. November 26, 2021 Dear Mr. Moquin, We used to love going to Home Hardware, mostly because it is a Canadian store and the staff is usually friendly and helpful. We purchased 6 boxes of vinyl plank flooring for our porch on Nov 5/21 which cost $449.38. Unfortunately we were one board short. My husband went to your store to ask if he could purchase 1 board from the open box on display. He was told no even when he asked to speak to the manager. It wasn’t like we were asking him to open a new box as this box was open and actually one of the boards was damaged so couldn’t be sold as a whole box. We were very disappointed that we had to purchase a new box at the cost of $74.90 for just one board. Not very good customer service and therefore we will not be shopping in your store again.
