CARCITY
There is a lot wrong with my car. Left the lot confident that I had made the right choice with Car City, but 2 weeks later now, I am not so sure. See, I left the lot and instantly heard rattling in the front end. I messaged the manager of CarCity and he advised me to bring it in for a look and to keep him updated. Awesome. Well I bring it in and they said that everything underneath was brand new, Great! Left the shop and not even 15 mins after leaving, the check engine light comes on. So I turn around and they check.... not only is the timing belt not on track, but the WHOLE ENGINE NEEDS TO COME OUT TO FIX THE ENGINE. There detected engine failure in my car. So now I have to go without a car until their done because insurance wont pay for a rental car unless there is an accident. SO not only am I car-less(which is why I got a car in the first place), but now I have no ride to work, AND I still have to pay on a car that I cannot drive. $600 a month between car payment and insurance payment for my new car to just sit at a shop because they sold me a piece of crap. Ill NEVER go through CarCity again. EVER. not even a full 2 weeks with this car and I'm already regretting signing anything. UPDATE 8-24-18: They had fixed my car and the check engine light. They fixed almost $800 worth of issues with my car. I'm still not happy that there was that much wrong with a car that I had just bought, but I am happy that it was fixed at no charge to me. Thank you Allen, Willy, and Tom at CarCity in Muskegon for keeping open communication with me and for making things right.
