Would pay a premium to buy through Karen Potter
Due to a succession of problems, I ended up getting most of the way through buying several flats in Southport before one successfully completed, which meant I worked with several different estate agents. From my perspective, Karen Potter was consistently the most helpful and supportive throughout the entire purchase process: they were much more proactive about helping the purchase complete than any other local estate agent. Perhaps if you're lucky and have a transaction that works perfectly smoothly, it won't make much difference, but my experience tells me problems often show up during the conveyancing process. Karen Potter were absolutely key to resolving the problems I had with the flat I did purchase. If I were ever buying in Southport again, I would genuinely pay a premium for a property that was listed with Karen Potter rather than any other estate agent. If and when I come to sell, I am definitely going to be talking to Karen Potter first.
