Not what was promised...

I went with this firm having read some of the positive reviews and needed a conveyancer to act speedily on a new build purchase. I have given 2 stars as to be fair the communication definitely improved in the week leading up to completion. However, for a number of weeks from instruction it was horrific service to say the least. You have the vendor's solicitor, the Developer and the vendor's estate agent saying they are not receiving replies from PCS, and asking for your intervention. I am working full time and simply don't have the time to chase up conveyancers. Searches were sat on for over 2 weeks.....the list goes on. Somewhere along the line, firms such as PCS Legal , despite the promises on their website, have lost touch with the fact that what is another work task for them, there is also a paying customer stressing about meeting completion on their largest financial transaction and not knowing what is going on- with emails and phone calls being ignored. Tread carefully with this crew unless you have lots of time on your hands.
