Unfortunately, I have to warn against renting a car from TopCar. Five weeks ago I rented a car at La Palma Airport, that suffered a minor damage during my vacation. We got a replacement car. They charged two times €900 on my credit card. 900 € for the first car and 900 € for the replacement car. Now, four weeks later, they have charged €1.800 - missing at my bank account now - but have not made a claim that I can use for my travel insurance. The phone of the otherwise friendly people in the office refers to customer service. But despite five mails, I have received no response. Not even my confirmation that someone actually reads your request. And you can’t call them. It was a cheap rental. But it turns out that price and quality go hand in hand. Hence this warning.
