Unprofessional, lack of urgency, and poor communication.
I listed my property with Thornely Groves after an initially very well-performed sales pitch and photo experience. From here our experience went progressively downhill. The viewings we initially had consisted of no continuity of care, and seemingly very inexperienced estate agents. One of whom went to the wrong house with the buyer for 20 minutes, and others had never been to the area and decided not to bother showing communal areas (such as a large gated garden, and underground carpark), so I honestly think that we would be able to do a better job ourselves. There is almost no urgency to notify us of progress, where we have not received feedback without having to chase ourselves. Finally, actually getting in contact is almost impossible, having called the office and several different agents that we have dealt with multiple times over multiple days we are still yet to get a response. Given that the main office is also the same line that is used when trying to book a viewing we are not really surprised that we've had lower interest that other similar properties listed with different agents. Overall, I would advise anyone to steer clear. I know that it was sold to us as "we sell the majority of properties in your area" - this might be true, but if so, only because they convince people to list with them, not because they are good at what they do.
