Expensive for short life
I purchased the LED mask and it is difficult to say if it had great results, but it did what it claimed. The design may be a challenge for some, because it is a hard mold which may not be suited for all facial shapes and sizes. It also means that key areas are not getting covered, and there's no easy way to jerry rig it. My biggest problem is that the electronics started to fail early on. The unit stopped charging properly and therefore became essentially unusable with cycles of less than 2 minutes as the max time it would work. I believe they guarantee the lights to work 1000s of hours, but if your mask won't turn on, that's irrelevant. I probably had less than 20 hrs of use out of an item that is listed for $400. I've bought laptops for less and used them for years and years. At this price point, one expects a reasonable amount of longevity. They have a short warranty in comparison to other products on the market, at only one year, and they are not interested in fixing problems with their product. You can read on reddit case after case of the same problem with the charging port. So it's something they must be aware of. You have too many options now for infrared, including an infrared blanket, to waste your money taking the chance on this one. It may serve its purpose but be prepared to have to buy a replacement year over year.
