Not the best experience

Directors of Toolstation (if you are bothered)- must do better because Screwfix are looking a much better company right now, and probably run more efficiently. Good reactive service but poor delivery times and customer service level. Placed an order on 28th, one item to be next day delivery. Sunday text, all items ready for collection but unconfirmed about next day delivery item. Monday came and went, so did Tuesday - no next day item had been delivered (why am I chasing? Where is the notification texts all of a sudden?). Onto the Toolstation chat I went and was told the next day delivery item has gone awol so have sent another (not sure what would have happened had I not done the donkey work). So Wed came and then onto the chat again I went to be told BOTH, that's BOTH orders are ready for collection. Went to collect the entire order today but one item from the original completed (which should have been ringfenced for two weeks) and ready collect, had now gone awol. It was ME as the customer who suggested sending it out to me FOC and I await that next week. Toolstation were not going to suggest sending out the missing item. One entire week waiting for the order. Spoke to Toolstation support on the phone who practically said "sorry, but we did our best". Not even going to refund, compensate or gift voucher. Can't believe this level of service. So I'll reconsider in future as its a disgraceful level of service. (No patronising reply required Toolstation, I've heard your side already)
