Stay away - very sketchy and unlawful practices
I have bought a watch that was on offer on their website. It was meant to be in stock for next day delivery, but falling over the weekend thought there might be a delay. After 4 days of no contact - no notification of postage or anything else, I have send JW an email. I did not get a response (in fact no response until now almost month later when writing this). I have called them the next day (5 days from order date) and have been told that they do not have stock and at this price will not order it from supplier (!) so I can either get something else from their website with a possible discount or get a refund. I have told I’ll check their website and call back. Did not find anything similar currently available on JW website so was trying to call back for 3 days straight - a lot of attempts and time spend on the phone. After few days someone picked up and said it will be up to 14 days for the refund. 14 days after refund has been agreed I did not receive it. I have called back - again I took a while to get hold of Jura Watches - I have this time around been told it will be 14 business days for the refund. I did receive email confirming refund 13 business days after it was agreed and refund was received few days later. Almost full month from the date of purchase! Very sketchy! Judging by other negative reviews it is common practice they sell items they do not have to then drag it for a refund. This is free line of credit for JW if done on larger scale. According to Consumer Rights Act 2015 the refund should be given within 14 days, not 14 business days. Also lack of any comms further delays the refund. This is unlawful and I’ll be reporting this to Trading Standards to look into their practices.
