Update to credit/ refund
Update. The local gyms only apply for a credit back to corporate. If you read the paperwork they give you, they have 60 days to decide if you should even get a credit back or not. So the three unnecessary charges withdrawn from my account, I may not see for another 57 days. Mind you, those charges add up to over $130. The last two charges were withdrawn, EVEN AFTER MY ACCOUNT WAS “STRAIGHTENED OUT”. Which again, should be wire fraud. If you decide to join, do not put your card on your account. Tell them you want to be a cash player. If they refuse to sign you up because of that, RUN. My biggest suggestion, as the squeaky wheel gets the grease: write to the State’s Attorney General, for the state you live in and complain your situation to them. In Florida, myfloridalegal “dot”com. Scroll down to the email address, and copy the information they request. Add it to your email. At some point, they can’t deny investigating Crunch Fitness’s practices. I also ask, how many that signed up, had an opportunity to read your agreement when you signed the iPad? And only got a copy to read when you checked your email?
