What a holiday I had with my partner…
Just got home did Cromer holiday Holkham hall on 23rd July 2025 What a holiday I had with my partner Neil it was fantastic hotel start to finish hotel de Paris is lovely very well done to all involved the staff manager house keeping food drink entertainment receptionist and night porter and big thanks to the chef and yasmine and tom they are the best. Now the excursions was hit and miss Sherringham was great and holkham hall lovely but frigbrigg hall wasnt it was boring and was there for to long we got there for 10am and couldnt go in the house for two hours. Found the place boring and uninteresting my partner and I was went around for two hours in one little garden I'm not impressed with that excursion please dont do fribrigg hall again nothing of interest at all. Coach driver Brett very good helpful and knowledgeable as well very nice person. Service on Saturday night at hotel de paris Cromer was very slow service it was understaffed it took over 25 mins to get desert some staff was on sick had some staff missing at the restaurant and bar so there was no bar service for two nights. The day trip to wells next to the sea and Holkham hall was lovely would love to have spent more time in wells next to the sea only had an hour there and it was a very long walk to and from coach pick up point I barely had enough time to get a cuppa loo break and food we didnt have time to get anything to eat drink at wells next to the sea as the coach driver wanted us back on the coach at 4pm the coach carpark closed at 4pm but I have booked other coach holidays with alfa in Oct and December 2025 and for March April Sept next year Alfa holidays are excellent value for money and there Portage is really fabulous fast and effective great team work
