A rating of 1 is probably too high!

Their delivery and refund policies are outrageous! A relative tried to send a very expensive gift basket to us for Christmas. They supposedly called us on Christmas Eve around 3PM, and we were aleady on our way out of town. Although we have an answering machine, they didn't even leave a message, the gift could have been left with any number of neighbours who were home, but ehy didn't try tht either. They just sent the gif back to their "warehouse" (no idea where that was), and we only found out about the gift after apeaking to the purchaser. I left several phone message once I found out, and no one even had the courtesy to call back. I finally reached a live person using a different phone number today, but even speaking to a supervisor was a waste of time. Either they will give the purchaser a refund less a shipping fee, or if we want to get the gift, they will charge the purchaser what amounts to a "re-stocking fee" of $35CAD. In the end, it would cost even more than was already paid. My logic is that my relative is being punished because we weren't home, or we're being punished because we weren't home, and b ased on all the comments I'm seeing here, they should be put out of business.
