Atrocious customer service
Received my new device, and sent my old phone for trade-in. Received the confirmation email that the full amount of £130 would be sent to my account within 14 days. After 16 days, I contacted google customer services. This was the most frustrating experience of my life. Everytime I connected to someone, I had to explain the whole issue from the begining. After 10+ times contacting them, these are some of the terrible responses... - wait another 4 days - check with your bank (never recieved) - check with Klarna (weren't even used) - your bank is withholding the money - it's my fault for not setting up payment services correctly (I had) - payment has definitely been made but we can't provide any reference numbers or evidence It has now been 50 days and the payment has still not been made. Google owe me £130 and are refusing to make the payment. I have chased and chased, even threatened legal action. Every time I just get the same generic response "sorry to hear that, we're working hard to solve this issue". But there has been no details or date for when this will be resolved. My advice to anyone looking to use the trade-in service - AVOID at all costs!!! If you need Google Customer Services, good luck! They are as useful as a paper tea pot. How a company can operate like this is beyond me! At this point Google LLC is basically one big scam.
