Horrendous

Awful, awful, awful firm – I don’t know if it’s the whole company, just the Basildon office or my 'solicitor' Sarah, but since instructing PSC Legal on 4 September, I’ve never had ONE phone call from them. Not one phone call in almost 7 months. Every time I’ve had contact, its been me calling and sitting on hold for a long time and then, if I’m lucky to get through at all, speaking to an admin assistant. Its astounding, and I’ve never heard of anything like it. There have been consecutive days where no one would answer the phone or respond to emails, so when it would come to a critical point in the transaction there was no one to speak to which was beyond frustrating. When no one answers, the call gets forwarded to a front office somewhere who take a message for a call back that has never come. Again, in 6 months I have NEVER received a phone call from PCS Legal (MY own solicitor), and I’ve received 2 emails from them AFTER I called to chase the progress and they would send me something I needed to respond to. So if I didn’t call to chase them, how long would have gone by before they emailed me what I needed to complete? My buyer has now pulled out because after 6 months, we were still a way away from completing and her mortgage offer is about to expire. I’ve lost huge amounts of money and time because PCS Legal are incompetent and failed to complete a simple no chain sale of a one bedroom flat. Its also worth noting that I was told my buyer pulled out 16 DAYS AGO and PSC Legal haven’t even sent me an email to acknowledge the transaction is cancelled. Truly a cowboy firm. Please, PLEASE do yourself a favour and choose someone else. I have previously used Direction Law who were fantastic and emailed me every day – I kick myself every day I didn’t go with them again but PCS Legal were the cheaper option.
