AVOID TOO SLOW LOST OUR BUYERS
We were recommended to use this company by co-operative legal as thd property Is a probate property. This was nearly 2 years ago. We have had a number of buyers but due to the slow response of our solicitor to answer replies and generally get things done We have lost a couple of serious buyers and now she is messing another buyer's solicitor around by delaying sending us questions then delaying even further sending our replies which we sent to her the same day! At one point she sent out a contract with the incorrect buyers name and price on! We are constantly chasing her to do tasks which is hard work as she doesn't reply to emails and half the time doesn't answer her telephone. We now have some more enquires come in from the buyers solicitors as we can see from the eway portal so we have chased by email and phone for them to be sent to us she told my sister she hasn't got round to looking at the email yet and we will have to wait! This property is supposed to complete at the end of this month and is costing us double council tax and bills the more this goes on. We are very stressed and upset as it was my mum and dad's property and the longer it is left empty the more state of disrepair it gets into! We have contacted Co-operative Legal to complain about the time this is taking and how they shouldn't recommend this circus of a firm to grieving relatives! We are also looking at contacting the financial ombudsmen regarding compensation as this house would have been completed if the solicitor would have done her job efficiently the first time over a year ago and we wouldn't be now paying all these ongoing bills and maintenance costs!
