Unacceptable.
Unacceptable. We have let a flat in Guildford through Townends. We opted for for full management. When there was a minor electrical problem, we were asked if we wanted Townends to find an electrician: we said yes. They used a property management firm, who sent their electrician in to do an estimate. We were charged £96 for the estimate which was for £370 (plus the £96 of course!) a total of £466 We found a qualified electrician who estimated and did the job for £150 - and he wasn't the cheapest!
